  1. Is it pointless to even look for any?
  2. do your hands and feet itch with it?
  3. Agreeing with Shay. I would also recommend that you call any offices that have done ANY testing on you and have them mail you the results. You need to be the one keeping up with them so you don't fall through the cracks.
  4. THANK YOU, JULIE!! That I could probably do! I was supposed to wait till tomorrow to add something back in but I caved tonight and had some Rice Chex with Pacific Rice milk over it. I have had the Rice Chex before and don't think they were what was glutening me. The Rice milk should be ok...we'll see. You just don't realize how much you need/want VARIETY...
  5. I've been eating chicken, brown rice, potatoes, bananas, and grapes for several days and just added broccoli/cauli yesterday. I'm adding things in one at a time to make sure I can SEE when I get glutened. I have GOT to have some butter or something to help flavor some of this stuff. I'm not a big veggie eater anyways and I'm ready to hurl if I eat more...
  6. I was on Paxil and he switched me to Cymbalta. I checked and the Cymbalta was gluten-free. But I've had more trouble sleeping since on the Cymbalta...mainly getting to sleep because of the foot/leg thing. So I'll be on a half dose of Cymbalta for two weeks before I can go back to the Paxil. I'm actually going nuts right now. My restless leg is in...
  7. Last night was much better in terms of getting to sleep. I called my PCP and told him I wanted to switch my anxiety med back to what I was taking because some of this runs along side that switch as well and I wanted to cover all my bases. I didn't ask for it to be switched to begin with, but he thought Cymbalta would help with my "fibro" pain. My sleep...
  8. Mine, Tresseme', said "hydrolyzed wheat protein."
  9. I'm so sorry, Amy.
  10. He did and the weird thing is that most were either normal or high. I know Vit K was high and either A or D was the other one. I haven't heard anything from him on that, just that they were high. I should probably call if for no other reason that to make sure I didn't get lost in the cracks of the system.
  11. I did it myself because everything was going right through me. I also suspected CC somewhere. I'm thinking that I need to totally stay away from foods not prepared in dedicated facilities. But since dairy is out and then soy...I just don't know WHAT I can eat so I'm adding things in little by little.
  12. Probiotics - CHECK! They are helping...uh...firm things up it seems. Either that or I'm not getting any CC. So what about adding new things in? How often?
  13. I realize it isn't very balanced, but it's been all my gut could tolerate. I can try to add in something today, veggie wise, but it can't be high fiber or I think it will come back to bit me in the you know where! I can get my multi in...it's a good one. I've got some broccoli/cauli mix in the freezer. That steamed would probably be ok on my intestines...
  14. My feet have been driving me nuts, mainly in the last couple weeks. I've been gluten-free...or trying...for three weeks. I have had several times when I feel like someone just shot a bolt of lightening out my big toe for example. Never had anything like that before. Also, at night it's almost like Restless Leg Syndrome, but it's my feet. I even tried...
  15. Another one right there with ya! I took F-F's advice and I have had nothing in the last 24 hours but grits, rice, potatoes, chicken and grapes. I'm not even using any type of butter/margarine product. Something was getting me or just my intestines could not handle anything at all! I also started taking probiotics. Something is helping. Isn't it...
  16. Got 'em. I found one with 8 different ones in it and the largest amounts I could find. I already took two and will probably go ahead and take a couple more at bedtime.
  17. Can my GI doc test for other sensitivities so I can stop trying to figure this all out the hard way? I haven't eaten any dinner yet because lunch wasn't with me for even an hour. And it should have been ok.
  18. I'll go get some today. I promise. Hold me to it.
  19. I take a double dose of Calcium every day...Everyday Calcium with Enzymes from Rainbow Light. Occasionally I take Rainbow Light's Women's Nutritional System Multi+Daily Program. I'm supposed to take 4 of those a day, but I can only get them down on a good day. They stink and taste like they smell and if I'm the least bit queasy, they ain't going no where...
  20. I already do...ugh...from "loose" to "water." This is what I was afraid of.
  21. just found this online.... Some of the most common signs and symptoms of vitamin A toxicity, which usually fall under the condition of hypervitaminosis A, include fatigue; headaches; muscle, joint and bone pain; dry, flaking skin; alopecia; amenorrhea; gastrointestinal problems, including nausea and vomiting; pruritus; and weight loss. Other problems that...
  22. My PCP just called...the nurse actually, and my A and K levels were REALLY high from the blood they drew. Anyone know why that would be? I would have thought them to be low. He's faxing the results to my GI. Wonder what he will say or do?
  23. I'm already taking mega doses of Calcium so I'm ok there. And sweets are very limited as I'm trying to loose weight too. I'll definitely consider some probiotics. Sure can't hurt! Wish I'd thought of it before I left Whole Foods earlier today!
  24. I'm gonna cut out the bread. I'll freeze the partial loaf I have and use it for bread crumbs or something later so I won't be throwing a couple bucks in the trash. This morning I had grits...I usually add some butter but just did salt and pepper. A banana too. At lunch I did a Lundburg rice cake with 1 Tbs almond butter (phew..and some SALT...
