    Are they safe or not? There website states that the beef broth contains hydrongized (sp) wheat. I have read that this is not safe. However, I just read that they have been tested and pose no gluten responce. Help! My son loves mc donald ff! Thanks

    There are companys that are only packaging and growing oats. I think you might be able to find them online. The research thinks that celiac patients can eat oats. I tried some on my son in pre packaged cereal - captian crunch. He had runny poops a few hours later. I am not sure if it is the fiber or what, but I am going to wait for a few more months....

    If you have celiacs you have gluten intolerance. However, it is possible to have gluten intolerance and not have celiacs. Normally intolerance does not cause anaphylactic shock and leaves no damage to the villi, but can cause gi symptoms.     I saw a dietitian for my son they told me to feed him the exact opposite of healthy. He is suppose to eat 1200 calories a day. I am to use butter, oil, whole milk etc in his food.     My 2 yr old son improved pretty quick. He stopped vomiting once we went gluten free and his poops began to get normal within about 2 weeks. I find that juice still gives him runny poops, but not nearly as smelly as when wheat is involved. I limit his juice to about 4 oz a day. He does not like fruit so we are ok there.
