  1. Wegman's is a large grocery store in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Virginia. It has lots of health foods and gluten-free food. The cereals I mentioned are also priced well (less than $2 a box). However, they do not sell on-line. Tania Greenville, PA
  2. Wegman's has a gluten-free Corn Pops and several cereals and they label them gluten-free on the front of the box! Tania Greenville, PA
  3. I have the reese easter eggs (chocolate coated) in front of me and they do not list wheat or any other gluten on the label. Tania Greenville, PA
  4. I am wondering if anyone has any information on recommendations for a non celiac disease pregnant mom when one child in the family already has celiac disease? We have 2 kids (one with celiac disease, one without) and are thinking about a third. 1) First, should Mom be gluten-free during pregnancy? 2) Second, should Mom be gluten-free for breastfeeding...

  9. I am familiar with all the celiac organizations position that oats must be avoided due to contamination and have avoided oats for my daughter, 3, since her diagnosis. We went for our 6 week follow up and met with the dietician and GI doc. Both recemmonded that we use "pure" oats and not the big brands like Quaker. (I am awaiting more information from them...
  10. First, I think this an individual decision for all families. There is no right answer. For our family, we choose to go gluten-free for everyone. My daughter, 3, is celiac. Daughter, 5, me, and husband are not. I find it simpler to prepare one gluten-free meal and not worry about cross-contamination. My not gluten-free daughter gets to eat gluten stuff...
  11. My daughter is 3 and we are getting ready for preschool this fall. I know that envelopes, stamps, etc. that must be licked can contain gluten. I am wondering about self-adhesive stickers (and foamies). I have tried contacting several companies and have been told they are unsure whether gluten is in the adhesive. Has anyone received any specific...
