  6. Make rice crispy treats - Use the same recipe as you would rice krispys but replace with 11 cups rice chex - Crushed I add a cup of marshmallows into the mix and about a cup of m&m's you could use the green and red Christmas mix for a party. These taste great!
  7. My Favorite that I have tried is called Namaste Foods ... I literally could not stop eating it. I mean this was better then gluten cake. Trust me I have eaten a lot of cake in my life time gluten and non gluten. Not only is it the best tasting I have found it is super easy to make. The only change I made to it was adding about half a cup more sugar to the...
  8. Yah, I'm looking for the real deal...not an "attempt at a bagel" in prepackaged form. But I suppose I will make the recipes I have and see what happens.... I have gotten a lot of great recipes from here and I thought maybe someone had a bagel one laying around
  9. Yep that's where i got the base from, I added a few things to it because I am into that kind of thing. I made it a couple nights ago my husband said this is yummy. I had to have something to feed a family of not gluten free people. This is going to be it. Also you can just use the canned green beans alone it does not have to be fresh, I used a mixture of...
  10. This is a bit time consuming but you can freeze it and bake it on the day you want to eat it. It makes a better then non gluten green bean casserole. GLUTEN FREE GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE Cream of Mushroom Soup: 1 tsp Butter 1 lb. button mushrooms (if you want the more traditional mushroomy flavor omitted the extra vegetables and only use mushrooms...
  11. ahh alas I suppose I will give them a try, I always find that what I bake gluten free usually tastes far better then store bought gluten free products. Maybe bagels are the exception to the rule
  12. Any time Happy holidays!
  13. Hello everyone! I have recently bought a few cook books for baking (gluten free) and I have seen a couple different recipes for bagels in two of them, ( "Cook fast and healthy" by Bette Hangman and "You won't Believe it's Gluten Free" by Roben Ryberg) problem is I'm not sure which to use... I have been craving bagels for at least 2 weeks now but I am...
