  2. Brine Shrimp is fine. You can get it either dry or frozen. I prefer the dry cubes and I break them up in the fish food container so my son can feed his fish. The brine shrimp is a bit more expensive than the wheat/gluten filled flakes but it's better for your fish and you don't have to worry about inhaling any of the gluten filled flake foods.
  3. I love scrapbooking too. My son likes helping me so I've been careful about what I buy due to the Celiac Disease. I bought my xyron stuff at a2zScrapbookingSupplies.com. I looked a lot of places and found the best prices there. I love mine!!!!!!

Does anyone know of a good place near New Bern, NC? We will be there for a week... We will only be in Greensboro for an evening and I'm sure there is probably an Outback somewhere...

Many of our children with Celiac Disease have major nutritional deficiencies that we need to find and fix. My 7 year old is very aggressive when gluten is involved and he has become somewhat aggressive...
  7. So what do you recommend for a school that knows my 7-year-old son has Celiac Disease that just can't get it right? In two weeks I have had THREE gluten experiences. Two have been with Clay that I told them over six weeks ago was full of Gluten. Now they have sent home a note for the Thanksgiving lunch with all gluten foods for parents to bring in for their...
  8. We eat lots of Frito Lay products around here and have had no problems with getting glutened. My son is severely sensitive. We eat Wavy Lays BBQ, Cheetos, Sour Cream and Onion and Smart Pop Cheddar popcorn as well as Tostitos.
