    On the back of my honey roasted Purdue ShortCuts it says "gluten free". HOWEVER, the boil-in-bag rice I thought would be safe because it is white rice was actually "processed in a facility that has wheat, Soy, and Milk in it".     I am not 100% sure what symptoms you would have if you had a dairy intolerance. I am fairly certain that I am lactose intolerant, so I am avoiding it as best as I can.     Sorry - I saw this AFTER I typed my novel of a response. I didn't realize corn was so harsh on my digestive system. i will try cutting out Gluten and corn and see how that goes for me - maybe at least corn light and no corn pancakes like I have eaten for two days.     I do not see any difference between having a toastada shell or a taco shell there. Why wouldn't someone with Celiac be able to have both the tostada and the hard shell tacos?     I am new to all of this so again-I had to call. The representative this AM told me two times they contain gluten. After reading everyones posts I called again. This rep said only "we do not test for gluten". She repeated that statement three times. Newbie error here. They can't state whether it does or does not contain it. Sorry

    I called Zyrtec first thing this morning specifically asking about lactose and gluten. They stated that all of their products were not gluten free. My doctor had prescribed Claritin tablets and these do contain lactose so he switched me to the fast tabs which are lactose free. I am only 8 days gluten free so I am calling every company before I use their products...

    Yay for Claritin. Just called the info line and the representative was VERY helpful. Claritin regular 10mg tabs contain lactose. Claritin Ready-Tabs are lactose free/casein free. Claritin Grape and Fruit flavored syrup is lactose/casein free. ALL Claritin products are Gluten free ~ Looks like I will not be starting my generic Claritin...

    I do not have much information for you because I myself am a "newbie" but I at least wanted to respond to you so you didn't feel like no one here cared. I think that what you are describing could be multiple things. It could be Celiac, Gluten Sensitivity, a Wheat allergy, or just purely coincidental. It could be an allery or reaction to something else...

    I do not think it is related - but anything is possible. Did your doc only do a Hida? Did they do bloodwork and check for pancreatic function...or do something like a "gastric emptying scan"? I remember when I was in the beginning stages of having all of the tests run they did many blood panels, a Hidaa scan, Gastric emptying scan and numerous other things...
