    I told to stay away from MSG (mono sodium glutimate sp?) and Maltodextrin, any thing with malt.     My son will be 2 on Saturday and it will be our first gluten-free birthday. I am going to try to make a gluten-free cake. I to am going to tell noone and see if any one notices. We are also going to a have a build your own sundae. I thought it would be fun and different.

    Lorraine my son had the biopsy done at 15 mo old and it was not a bad procedure. Most children do the biopsy in a gi lab but my son had to do it in a surgery room because he has had upper respitory infections before. They did 4 different test and it took less than an hour.     My son is 20 months old and all of his test came back negitive but we had positive dietary change. I say if it makes them better do it. Put him on the diet hope for the best.

    We have had a postive dietary change but our dr will not give him a diagnosis of celiac disease because all the test came back negetaive. Is there anything that we can do about that. I have had him tested for allergies and everything came back no allergies. Can we do any thing.

    Well after 16 days of waiting test results are in. The dr told me that he doesn't have celiac. Which in one way is great in another it is aweful because they do not know why he is not gaining weight and is not growing.     Things went well, they did a ECD a colonoscpy and a pancris test. He was very hungry by the end of it. He was in surgery for almost a hour. It all went well they didn't see much swelling but he said that doesn't mean much. The dr said he might have a small amt of constipation after surgery.     I take my almost 16 mo old son tomorrow for an ecd and a colonosicpy.. My son has been on a clear liquid diet for 2 days and he is fussy. I know he can't wait to get food tomorrow. I hope everything goes as well as you childs went .. Glad everything went well and wish me and my so luck.

    I have 2 children that are immundifent and recieve IVG which is gamma. Will this medicine throw off all of his test that we are doing on Thursday and Friday.
