Has anyone tried making the bagels? My son and I miss them terribly. I have noticed that everyone has commented that there is too much water in the bread recipe, should I just assume it's the same with the bagels? Well I'll be trying them out tomorrow.

Because of your history and by the sound of the symptoms your children have I would go ahead and get the genetic testing done. Some insurance companies pay for it. Even if you decide to go with the blood test your children are old enough to get a correct diagnosis (unless on a gluten free diet) I believe if the child is under 2 you could get a false negative...

I'm much older than your son (35 to be exact) but whenever I ingest some gluten (not that I mean to) I get all of those symptoms except for the vomiting, I end up with the diarrhea instead.
