Well I've been seeing slow improvements when staying away from gluten, though when I decided to eliminate monosodium glutamate from my diet, I started to see more vast improvements, with my rash almost gone.... I question could this part of my long gluten free diet. Which I did consume gluten within those weeks, and more recently a day or two ago. I can really...

Urgent I'm debating on whether I'm just monosodium glutamate intolerance, or also likely gluten intolerance as well. I did get a blood test and my doctor called in with the results, saying everything tested was negative and I'm not celiac. Though I also should mention I was on a 2-3 week diet ( gluten free, within 2-3 weeks I only consumed gluten 3-5 times...

I seem to report my symptom reactions when eating things with monosodium glutamate.... though a day free of monosodium glutamate and my symptoms are extremly low, or not present at all. So I recently started to avoid monosodium glutamate after noticing I would experience symptoms when eating things with it. Though now I'm questioning can I just be celiac...

Because I would like to know for sure what to avoid and not. I mean I now know I'm mosodium glutamate intolerance, seems like everytime I consume it.... my symptoms kick in. Lump on the back of my head may swell ( if high amounts consume) and I will get aches, drowsyness etc... though I also was told many celiacs are also msg intolerance which makes me think...

I now know that I'm monosodium glutamte intolerance. After remembering recent history, and observing myself... monosodium glutamate really kicked in my symtoms. The lump on the back of my head seem to have swell, I got headaches in the area of the lump, felt drowsyness etc..... and notice all of this happen during a few hours later ( sometimes minutes) consuming...

Yes I go back and see my doctor end of June. Though the only symptom she has been looking into is anxiety/ depression... which has decreased a lot. I just don't see how my other symptoms can be ignored when clearly there is a health problem causing it. Once I find out what the cause is, I think I'll be done having visits to that hospital... possibly for years...

Serversymptoms replied to Serversymptoms's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
Oh wow, looks like Celiacs have it great in many nice cities. I live in Lansing, Michigan. Population around 110,000. I haven't had pizza ( one if not my favorite food) in so long, as well as pretzel etc.... I seem to be celiac, and if I'am until there is a diagnose ( working on it in Austrialia) I will have to be in a gluten friendly city, or at least... -

I feel as if I'am celiac, with going on a gluten free diet. Since then, it tampered with my blood test showing celiac negative. Since I've gone on a gluten free diet, I have been seeing vast improvements... even with my teeth. A tooth that has been out of position appears its trying to re-adjust itself. I also feel healthier.... ( much more I can write on... -

Lately San Diego has been rising as one of my favorite cities.... As I've been coming across, is San Diego supposely suppose to be the most ( and likely only) celiac friendly city? Life for a celiac in San Diego would be much easier? _____________________________________________________ I live in Michigan I would be glad to go back to eating fries... -

Thanks for replies, looking for more _____________ Fries? I've been told to stay away from their fries, all contain gluten. -
Had a bag of chips with msg, and experience a rapid increase in symptoms... and notice I had the same symptoms from eating the same bag of chips yesterday. Looked up msg intolerance online, and my symptoms were common. I also found out that many celiacs ( as I've came across before) are msg intolerance. I now feel more that I may be celiac, as I also experience...

ARCHIVED Gluten Free/friendly Fast Food Chains,

What are gluten free/ friendly fast food chains, seemingly where you can feel as if you can pick anything off the menu like anyone else. Why can't fries be gluten free, hard to order a gluten free pizza, why is there a large lack of gluten free bread available at these food chains. (17 years old, have not been diagnose as celiac... though went on gluten... -
Thanks for replies There are no advantages that I'm not diagnose because I need a confirmation of my health condition. One reason, my gluten allergies have lead to many other health problems ( affected my grades, concentration/ focus problems etc...). This is a needed explanation for my grades to universities, and a confirmation. Also as a college student...

Exactly, my doctor knew I wasn't consuming any gluten for two weeks and I gave that notice to her. I have no clue what her intentions are, besides diagnosing me wrong. Clearly she should of had me eat gluten for a few days ( no gluten diet) and then test my blood. Im very disappointed in my local mega clinic, I know I have allergies, allergic to something...
-
My local mega clinic ( really a hospital) I'll give it a grade D. Apparently not only did my blood test say Celiac free, but also for any allergies that was tested on it. I know that I'm allergic to something, and have been seeing vast improvements since removing it from my diet such as: Finger nail growth, teeth adjusting, skin healing, feet cullucs ( however...

I think I may be Celiac, and have nearly every symptom known for Celiacs. I also would like to point out a symptom I had when I was a child. My stomach was bloated, and was like so for years. Though it finally went away. Almost perfection picture of my bloated stomach: (cartoon illustration)http://www.glutensecret.com/celiac.webp I always question why...

ARCHIVED How Long Should A Gluten Challenge Be?
Serversymptoms replied to Defkid's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Since I'm seeing my doctor tomorrow, I've been having gluten once or twice, or maybe even three times a week. So my test results/ allergy test ( if I get one) can be more accurate.... on whether I'm celiac or not. Like me ( and today) I consumed gluten and I think my health, appearance etc... took a worst toll... and these are part of my symtoms. So consume... -
ARCHIVED Bloating, Once Again...
Serversymptoms replied to adelaidez's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
I say give it more time, and probably eat soft things for a while... easier on stomach to digest. I think I may be celiac also, go to doctors tomorrow. I notice ( after looking closely at symptoms...) my stomach appers to bloat also when consuming wheat. -
I was doing my homework, and read ( on this website) that there is medicine to help/ speed the process of recovering your intestine damage by gluten. Medicine that you can find at a local store, such as Rite Aid. What is your opinion? If one take this medicine could it affect the recovering results of other damage gluten cause/ problems your damage intestine...

ARCHIVED Not Celiac After All? (this Is Urgent)
Serversymptoms posted a topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
I'm starting to conclude that I may not be Celiac after all. I've only experience changes with absence of gluten due to a introduction to new food in my diet, and say healthier ( like high consumption of Vitamin D lately), prompting better health conditions. I remember re-calling many improvements I began to notice, and so thought on what I just stated above... -

Serversymptoms replied to Serversymptoms's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
Well then I have no clue why my cousins who have allergies were perscribed a epipen once a year, I guess there is more to epipens that we don't know about. _____________________________ This website is helpful, though I'm now ( go to doctors june 1st) starting to think that I may not be Celiac. I have only experience different changes in things...
