  2. So far I self diagnose myself as being celiac, and also yeast intolerance. I notice now since I've been staying away from yeast my tongue has been clearing up from some sort of candida. Though I also try to lower my intake of monosodium glutamate.... and do somewhat suspect of nut or diary intolerance. Though as of now I will just try my best to stay away...
  3. I have only been completely gluten free for one whole week, though sometime in June I started the gluten free diet... and experience myself on and off eating gluten. I would suggest 3 months also. ( Need my thyroid check)
  4. I think you should make sure your daughter only eat basic foods, or only what you will serve. ___________ I self diangnosed myself as celiac, and with my family and doctors thinking I don't have a health problems my other possible health problems are being ignored. I suspect that I also may have a thyroid problem, when I mention it to my mom ( oh yeah...

  6. 17 years old I went on a gluten free diet before my blood test ( I was so far about 2 weeks gluten free). I got a phone call from the doctor ( after my mom question the hospital if results have came back since I've been concern about it) stating that the results were normal. My next appointment, my doctor was absent due to her plane arrival late in New...
  7. This link may also help:Open Original Shared Link The last statement is true, and is one that I'm experiencing. I have seen improvements going gluten free, and have no intentions on eating gluten again ( though since I was not professionaly diagnose, I always feel the urge to sneak gluten in my diet, and re-start the gluten free diet). I think my gluten...
  8. Thanks Yeah, but I really can't hold off on getting my thyroid check... I think it will be very logical. I also have like this rash like thing on/ around my neck which could be caused by my thyroid, skin issue has been there for years... almost look like dirt around neck, but I've notice it try to clear up on one side... or sometimes come back, also when...
  9. I'm 17 years old, and have self diagnose myself as being celiac. Since going celiac lots of symptoms have become light or disappeared. A most visible symptom is my hair texture, most recently I cut my hair to about 1/4 inch... and as I've stated to family members my hair texture should have slowly improved... and it did. Though I also think I have other health...
  10. I did self diagnose for being celiac, and things seem to be improving. Though I also think I have a thyroid problem, one symptom which is fatigue/ sleepless. I experience it all the time, you may also want to get your thyroids look at.
  11. 17 years old I've found out about celiac, and decided I would try the gluten free diet. As of 2 weeks being on the diet, my doctor ordered to give me a blood test since I've claim symptoms improved. Doctor said results came back normal and I should feel free eating gluten again. Knowing my improvements, I rather not go back to gluten. Though I also think...
  12. At least you will have other test done etc.... I went on a gluten free diet myself, seen improvements in symptoms and within 2 weeks of the diet I got a celiac test done which came back negative... wasn't surprise due to my diet. Being 17 years old, I'm not being held as only my imagenation, want attention etc... while I countinuely have other symptoms which...
  13. Yes, my tongue is also coated white. Though it appears like it is clearing up, I think it could be due to my gluten intolerance or possibly also a yeast intolerance I may have.... I have not professionaly been diagnose for gluten intolerance, due to my 2 week diet before testing. Though I'm trying to get thyroids test done etc... since I think I have other...
  14. Well it could be possible that I could have the same type of lump as you, though mines is in a completely different area. That explains why my lump hasn't been improving since I removed gluten from my diet, though other symptoms have. Yeah, the lump on my head pulses. I will just go Wensday and maybe the physcrist will order me to see a doctor and know I...
  15. My symptoms are being ignored by everyone, doctors and family. Though now it seems like a few aunts of mines may be suspecting that I'm right with my conclusions, maybe after seeing my hairtexture improve as I said it should once my health improves a little. I'm seeing a physcrist Wensday and my mom completely told me if they perscribe medicine for me "take...
  16. To op I have experience ringing noise, though it went away as I became gluten free... a lot of symptoms seem to have settled or became a little less present as I became gluten free. Though since I went on a 2 week diet before I got a celiac test, it came back false. Leaving me at the stage on whether to eat gluten again or not. I'm deciding not to, I know...
  17. Thanks, yeah it's really frustrating. I have my doctor who is just looking at anxiety, and family who all seem to think the doctor is right and bla...... I really think it's devastating that you had to wait until 24 to get a diagnosis, and thats just something I wouldn't be able to do, how miserable. Do you now steps that were taken for your doctor to pay...
  18. I have been trying to stay away from gluten, though around every 2 weeks I make a mistake ( also have been trying to stay away from monosodium glutamate). I notice the days I've ated gluten my hiccups return, stomach symtoms etc... Before I go to my main point, since staying away from gluten my hair texture has improved as I've stated before it should. I...
  19. Will come back to fully read, edit my post and reply to op. At my age 17, everyone also think it's all in my head and I just want attention. Also no doctor is really paying attention, and now it left a feeling on me that I now need to leave this city for college and never return. My health....
  20. Oh wow, I didn't know this was popular with celiacs. I know I losted my good hair texture as I got older and always question what happen to it, and would see the hairtexture go on and off throughout middle school. This is also the period I know my health started to turn bad. So now after going on a gluten free diet ( I haven't been gluten free for a full...

  22. After I eat my gluten free bread, I feel drowsy etc.... I notice everytime I feel like the lump on the back of my head is trying to improve, and other symptoms my intake of gluten free bread ( or bread in general) was a lot lower than previous times. What could this be? I always suspected I could have a yeast allergy.... also noting that everytime I eat my...
