Thanks for the reply. I have had periods of time where I can bruise easily and this is something totally different. It is a permanent "bruise" or discoloration on the bottom/thumb part of my hand. I have asked a couple doctors and they don't know anything.....wasn't too concerned until I saw it on my son and realized I am passing on all my health problems... -

Hey K--are you tapering down slow enough? I have the semi-same steroid problem and would get sick if I weaned too quickly. Finally one doctor told me to wean 1 mg every two weeks and it worked until I got down to 3 mg....got sick after two weeks and I too have been up and down ever since. The last time I weaned 1 mg every week and also did ok until 3 mg... -

I actually don't have one on hand to look at (the label) I remember trying them last year thinking they were ok, but then started having stomach issues. Maybe I'm grasping for straws now, but I had positive bloodwork for Celiac as well as my endoscopy. But..........is there anything else that could cause the same positive results? Wow......I'm amazed at all the posts! I also have scoliosis and Celiacs. I had a spinal fusion done in 1990 after high school. (Lumbar curve of 53 degrees reduced to 8) Never experienced back problems after that. In my stupidity, I just bought a new bottle 6 weeks ago and didn't read the ingredients (I'm pretty sure the old version was fine?).......it clearly marked maltodextrin on the label........shouldn't we avoid?...sooooo confused...........I counted back the leftover pills and did discover that problems started around when I bought the new bottle..... -

Thanks again everyone! I'm now trying to figure out my red flushed face. It comes and goes and now has happened after the "lasagna" incident. But here it is 5 days later and eating (not every meal ) will bring out a red flushed burning face and lips........of course like an allergic reaction? Can't link it to dairy cause I skipped that today, too.......

Sounds like that is what everyone is saying!!! How do you feel about lactaid? I thought I read somewhere that it helps a lot. I haven't gotton my head wrapped around going dairy free, too.....it's been in the back of my mind, though......I guess no milk, cheese, butter? Has anyone heard of the link between type O blood type and Celiac? A friend was told by a doctor that since she had type O blood, a gluten free diet might help her. Any news?
