  1. Hi Sally and all, I had a stool test and blood test for the H. Pylori and blood test for the yeast. The yeast test was for D-Arabinitol which is metabolite produced by candida. A normal value is 1-5 and mine was 5.8. I'm going to try to take caprylic acid to suppress the yeast while I am on the antibiotics. I also am eating soy yogurt. I ate...
  2. Kaiti, She was not my doctor then. I am going to her out of pocket since my regular doc doesn't know about gluten. By the way, to anyone who has talken meds for heliobacter, did you have vomiting along with it? I had green diarrhea and uncontrollable vomiting this morning. I had to go home sick. June
  3. Hi all, I found out today that I have heliobacter pylori bacteria in my stomach and a low grade yeast infection in my intestine. I have to be on two weeks of antibiotics and other medications. Also found out that my blood anti-gliadin and anti-transglutaminase tests are normal.( 15.9 for IgG antigliadin and 10 for ant-transglutaminase,14 for anti-gliadinIgA...
  4. If you are continuing to have diarrhea you might want to investigate whether or not you have an infection or parasites. My Doc has tested me for this and I find out the results tommorrow. Take care, June
  5. Hi all, I was self diagnosed through enterolab as having gluten intolerance, casein intolerance and one of the main genes for celiac. I also had fecal antitissue transglutaminase.Supposedly I don't have small intestine damage. I am awaiting blood tests. I get terrible seizure like attacks where my legs shake( actually my whole body at times), I have...
  6. Hi Dessa, I am going to a nutritionist who knows alot about gluten. He gave me foods to avoid and tofu and tempeh are on the list.He said that there is something called molecular mimicry where the body cant tell the difference between concentrated soy protein and gluten, it reacts the same way. Soy milk apparently doesn't have enough concentrated protein...
  7. Hi again Mel, I forgot to say that I was tested through Enterolab. June
  8. Hi Mel, You might be intolerant to the oil they use on the Redenbacher popcorn. I get terrible reactions to rancid oil, probably the sickest I have ever gotten. I was throwing up , diarrhea and palpitations all night three times on a cruise last year. Who knows how long those packages sit around. I have found out that I am intolerant to corn...

  10. Hi Kaiti, I saw that you mentioned lipsticks. Do you know which brands are gluten free? Thanks, June
  11. Hi all, I made a mistake. I have the DQ-8 gene, not 2. Brain freeze! Anyway its one of the main ones for celiac. I have no use for most MDs, especially ones who send their patients to psychiatrists because of the lack of their own knowledge!!! I too am not willing to go through uncomfortable tests that may or not turn out positive when I know...
  12. Hi all, Thank you again for your support. BamBam, Its good to know that I'm not the only self diagnosed celiac here. I do consider myself that because I do have the DQ-2 gene and I'm sure I had some of my villi affected due to my high fecal fat score through Enterolab and the other positive antibodies. (MY score was 288 and damage is supposed to...
  13. Hi Gillian, One of the tests I am going to have is for H. pylori. I am having a bunch of fasting blood tests on Wednesday. I did go to India in 1992 and I'm wondering if I picked something up there. Thanks everyone for your support. Today was agood day, I went biking with my husband, it was a gorgeous day! Afterward we took out food from Pollo...
  14. Thank you everyone for your replies. It is very comforting to know that I am not alone. I have been vacillating between depression and relief to know what has been wrong with me. I am 48 years old and have had symptoms as long as I can remember, especially anxiety. I do need to get a separate toaster. I was also wondering about teabags. Can anyone answer...
  15. HI all, I am new to this board. I actually diagnosed myself. I get attacks of diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, shaking, extreme anxiety and palpitations that last six hours. This happens once a month. I have had it for ten years. Since the last MD I went to advised that I see a psychiatrist I decided to do some research. This led me to Enterolab. I have...
