  1. i never would have thought to check my shoes! I would love to hear more of what you discovered. I also heard that as long as the product contains less than so many ppm(i think its like .02%) of gluten it can pass as gluten free! How can they do that? Have you heard anything like that?

  2. I believe you can be 'glutened' by more than just the food you eat. I suggest that you try to eliminate gluten from your soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies and everything else, too. It's not easy, but it's worth it.
  3. You could be having a reaction to the gluten in your laundry soap or shower soap. I have reactions to stuff like that. I can't walk on our carpet bare footed because it has a stain sealer that contains gluten and it causes a reaction for me. Be sure your not sitting on a sofa that may have a stain sealer on it, too. Good luck! Stay gluten-free!
  4. I just wanted to send this statement out there to everyone and anyone interested... I hope it's helpful! I hesitated about posting on this site for over a year now, what with Doctors posting here, and other "professional" people on the site. I'm not any doctor, or professional anything... I'm a person with Celiac disease though, and I'm slowly becoming a...

I wasn't diagnosed with celiac disease until I was 47. I believe I could have saved my woman-junk had I known sooner, but I was always mis-diagnosed. I'm soooo happy not to have to worry about it anymore...
  6. Yes, the tests can truly be misleading because if they don't test the affected area they can't see it. So, it can be years before you get correctly diagnosed. Sometimes that diagnosis it's by accident - a trial type thing. Try staying away from gluten to see if you feel better... the problem with that is gluten is everywhere! So, remember to remove gluten...
  7. Hi! I'm new to the blog... but I hope I can be of some help. I had the same type of gas! You're right - it's terrible! I was diagnosed August 29, 2008 and began a gluten-free diet that evening. The gas never let up until I took the gluten out of every household and personal care product I owned. The only thing that still contains gluten in my home, that I...
