I called "La Yogart" and the man said yes, it's gluten-free...however, he was extremely rushed on the phone and for some reason a red flag went up in my mind...anyone know about this yogart? -

I went into see my GI regarding my issues and he gave me the bloodwork for Celiacs...but before he did, he asked me what my ancestory was?? What the heck does that have to do with anything, I thought...than he said it common in the Irish community. I happened to have called Dannon the other day...they said that only activa and their plain yogart is gluten free...they don't claim gluten-free on any other item. -

Picked up some rice flour and threw out the wheat flour. Bread, like I said is a pain, but I'm sure I will find it local eventually. I guess pasta will be my downfall, since the gluten-free is so expensive, I'll just treat myself every once in a while. As for the sour cream...I purchased daisy, and called the company. I also know breakstone is okay... -

Went threw all my cabinets and figured out what has gluten and what doesn't. I couldn't believe how many things are gluten free!! Called alot of company's today and got info on all the things I wasn't sure of. This is'nt going to be so bad. Most of my canned stuff is gluten free, all my spices, dairy, meat.....only my bread crumbs isn't and my bread.... -

Anyone have a substitute for bread crumbs, that I can put in my meat loaf and meatballs??? I used corn meal tonight, but I'm not sure if that was a good idea or not. I just got done printing a list from general mills and spoke to some companies on the phone today, like Hunts (speg sauce and canned tomatoes...gluten-free Free) and Danan (not)...they even are sending me coupons! I'm new to the site and will be going to the doctor this week to discuss my problems. How does a person know how long they have had celiac disease? Are people born with it? Or does certain things make it develope? I have had problems as a young adult and was told it was IBS...nothing severe. The past several years, more issues have come up and I...
