Wow this is sooo cool!!! I was just talking about this with my daughter a couple of days ago. I didn't know there were existing restaurants that were gluten free. This is a great question! I can't tell you how many companies I have contacted with this same question. I have basically recieved the same answer from everyone. Even Johnson and Johnson for their baby lotion, "We do not add gluten to our products but cannot guarantee it because many of our ingredients come from outside sources." How ridiculous... -

I don't get stomache problems when I eat sweets but I noticed that the muscle and joint pains would get worse and would stick around longer. I tried cutting down on the sugar but didn't notice any change. It wasn't until I gave up corn and corn related products that I noticed a significant difference. I know, my skin get's terrible in the winter especially. I use baby oil in the shower, rub it on your skin and let it soak in, rinse off but don't wash off (no soap). You can also use cold cream. Other people mentioned aloe vera, it's great but get the pure stuff, nothing with additives. Burt's bees baby bee lotion is wonderful. Hope...

As you probably know there is "scientific dissagreement" about whether or not gluten gets through in the distilling process. Some say grain alchohol is fine, some say not, it's the same with vinegar. I never had any real pimple problems not even as a kid, but I contantly had rashes around my mouth and all aver my neck. It looked like pimples but were'nt, it was itchy and burning. The thing with deoderants, makeup, lotion, ect. is that trace amounts do soak into the skin and get into the bloodstream. I'm from Maryland near washington D.C. I'm pretty lucky because we have several stores with alot of gluten-free stuff. Even our major grocery store chain, GIANT sells alot of organic (and some gluten-free) items. This idea sounds great, Wendy

Hi guys, thanks for the notes. Your right Stef, a tree might have been good too. Being a celiac is so wierd. When I was still suffering I lived daily on anti-diareah meds. at least 2, sometimes as much as 4 a day.
