  1. I'm wondering if gluten can cause memory loss, through it's "foggy headedness". I ask because I don't remember most of life up unto the age of 11, and what I do remember seems very disconnected from me, but I do clearly remember long car rides and the feelings they brought, and on car rides I wouldn't eat for days because I get car sick. I'm wondering if...
  2. I'm having some trobles going gluten free because I turn to eating lots and lots of sugary things when gluten and milk are taken out of my diet. I hope this is temporary, maybe it's blood sugar going back to normal? Is this typical?
  3. Organic corn, sesame oil, sea salt.
  4. I'm quite short, i'm guessing because of malnutrition, and I'm 17. I should have 1? more year to grow, to make up for it. If I go gluten free, do I have a chance of growing in my last year to do so? I heard somewhere it takes 3 years to fully heal and this would mean no height growth? I really want to supply my body with the proper nutrients in its last year...
  5. I'm having sooo much trouble deciding what to eat, things that are soy, wheat, milk, and now sugar and/or corn free. like WHAAA. Hope it's temporary. I'd really like to hear what any of you eat on a typical day, whether you're only sensitive to gluten or you've got a tiring spectrum to avoid.
  6. I've been gluten free for a week now, 3 hours ago I ate a lot of organic corn cakes, and then a couple of minutes ago I was drinking a Jones Soda when I was overcome with body sores, a fast/loud heartbeat and diarrhea?? I've heard people are sensitive to corn, and sometimes sugar, but how do I know whether I was sensitive to the corn, or something in the...
  7. Did anybody overcome any anxiety after going gluten free?? I've been diagnosed with gluten sensitivity, and I have severe agoraphobia, I can rarely leave the house. I find I am worse after I've eaten something with milk or gluten.... Could it be the gluten? Would love to hear any experiences.
  8. I'm pretty sure this is the rash I had on my knees 2 years ago. It went away eventually with medicated cream, but I've discovered that i'm gluten intolerant or a celiac. (I haven't had any tests, but I'm positive I am.)
  9. Really gassy, feel like i'm sleeping while i'm awake (no focus, foggy head, colours and lights are brighter but more demanding and tiring), bloating, bad circulation like my legs fall asleep really easily, palpitations, heart pain, sweating badly for the next 2 days, constipation and then diarrhea for the next 2 days, depression and extra anxiety, irrational...
  10. I'm pretty sure my younger sister has gluten sensitivity... My grandmother was sensitive to milk items (suspecting she was lactose) and my mom is gluten-intolerant, I'm both. Throughout my childhood I had diarrhea every 2nd day, and my younger sister did too. She also had long-term constipation as a child...and feels sick after eating almost every day (she...
  11. I just have to say thanks all. I didn't realize how much effect gluten has on my life! I didn't even realize it could be what's making me so depressed and angry all the time, I didn't really see it's emotional effects. I think with this knowledge alone I have enough to get off of the gluten (and milk, i'm actually lactose too), I hear the two often collide...
  12. Whenever I'm depressed, I find myself drifting towards gluten to give me that warm kind-of -high- (followed by sickness of course) So when i'm depressed I stuff my face with bread, I mean like 3 buns and 5 cupcakes and anything that has the highest gluten content I can find until I can't eat anymore. I really want to stop forcing myself into the sleepy...
