  1. How wonderful. Please keep us all posted on how it goes......... gluten-free has made me a new person (and I'm 68). The weight loss is wonderful about 20lbs in 2+ months. And to feel this GOOD is Heaven.
  2. Free from this stuff and never had the first with drawal symptom. Which leads me to believe I didn't need it in first place. Feel good and am seeing some weight loss and inches too. If you need it take it! But do think doctors like to write Rx's wat too much.
  3. B6, Liquid B under the tongue,B complex and Raw D have really helped me. Hope you feel better soon.
  4. Thanks all. The posts really help. Sometime too much knowledge is a funny thing......need to stick to this site and gluten-free faces for my info. Happy Tuesday and gluten-free Eating.
  5. My fat seems way out of percent wise to protein percent? Is there some ratio we should follow. Still trying to learn all this. Thanks.
  6. Well oatmeal is out for me. Ate some this am and it was Katie bar the door. Yuck won't do that again. I think it's going to be Meat, Veggies and Fruit for me Period!!!
  7. The first couple of weeks I went to bed hungry cause I didn't know what to eat?? Now it is easier to know. I find gluten-free foods in store very pricey taste awful and full of carbs.
  8. Wondering if it's my laptop. Great site and forums.
  9. Stopped taking Cymbalta 5 days ago no problems feel fine. Was taking for Fibro pain but going gluten-free and eating low carb has helped in so many ways. This was one diagnosis I was happy to hear - Celiac ! After being sick most of all summer and now feeling like a new person. Taking lots of B6 B12 liquid is really helping.
  10. They were alittle chewy but were ok. So far no problems. Kind of high in carbs so wouldn't eat them too often. I'm learning all kinds of new things and tricks to staying healthy.
  11. Ate one today. Loved the bread but was not happy they put chips on beside it. I watched they did change gloves and make mine separate from DH. Will go back soon. Saw where their veggie soup was gluten-free.
  12. Wonderful shrimp stir fry (no rice) at DeAngelo's. Cook knew all about gluten-free she ask me what veggies I wanted spices, etc. Cleaned the grill and let me tell you it was de-lish!! Even warned me not to eat spinach dip which I know is not ok. Nice and friendly.
  13. Been on for 2 yrs for pain from Fibro. Getting off now but doing it slowly. Started taking every other day then every couple of days. Now take 2 times a week. Really haven't noticed any bad reactions. Hope you feel better soon.
  14. Always had good luck at PF Chang's. I don't eat any soy sauces. Did eat a smiching of hot mustard.
  15. Yea.........we have here in Louisiana. Thanks for passing the word along. Geaux Tigers !!!
  16. Ordered off their gluten-free menu but it was nasty. Steak and shrimp with brocoli. Steak was tough, raw, and downright nasty. Brocoli wasn't done. Waitstaff nice and took off the bill. The whole plate looked nasty!!! Glad I didn't eat it probably wasn't gluten-free anyhow. So came home and ate a gluten-free waffle which is carbs and sugar. Yuck....
  17. Halleuhia for gluten-free. It has only been about 3 weeks and I feel calmer.................!! It was something I noticed right away. Feels wonderful. I take Cymbalta for Fibro and hope to get off soon. One it's expensive and the Fibro pain is getting better everyday. Not sleeping real well but don't feel tired. Takes me along time to go to sleep....
  18. LOTS OF HUGSSSSSSSSSSS Check in often so we know how you are doing. We are here for you.
  19. What good posts we should keep this going. I too suffer and have tried everything. gluten-free has helped but only alittle. I find that all the creams Rx's only make it worst. Thanks,
  20. That's what I had at Outback and did fine. They were very helpful. Feel better soon.
  21. Gosh, I thought it was just me. Wasn't eating because by time I found something to eat - it was like why bother. After paying $6.49 for a loaf of gluten-free bread at Krogers I was in shock.... But I have noticed if I do eat carbie things I am hungry. Scary. Last night I wanted something sweet for the first time in 3 weeks. Drank water but finally gave...
  22. I'm new too and all I can tell you is READ, READ and READ some more. Felt like I spent the day in Krogers shoppping. Already made a boo hoo by buying Van's gluten-free waffle. You have to read everything. Ate one this am and my stomach is killing me. I got off diary because of a yeast infection that took over my body first. Really haven't missed it...
  23. It seems to me that gluten-free products have alot of sugar. I am only 2 weeks into this all new eating. Reading everything I can get my hands on. Since I am trying to lose weight too not crazy about the sugar. After being sick all summer sure don't want to eat anything I shouldn't. New diagnosis. And advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  24. I too noticed I had a sinus headache and was wondering why.....have been very careful watching what I ate. Been gluten-free about 2 weeks so maybe something slipped by me. Seems like all I do is Read and Eat! Haven't gotten into the routine yet - so I read everything. Took some Advil cold n sinus hope that was ok. Hope you feel better.
