  1. Interesting...... I am doing as much organic as possible. I will buy the chicken when it goes half price due to the "Eat BY" date. Same with the meat. I guess all fish is organic. Another fact is just going with WHOLE FOODS. Organic if possible. I think you guys are right on about the organic diet. Cooking is so easy and I love cooking anyway...

    ARCHIVED Whey Protein

What about Whey if you are lactose intolerant, like most of us are? I have tried this product called Zrii and it is a shake one meal replacement and I get the runs from that. It has Whey in it.

    ARCHIVED Fosamax

Good info Gemini. Thanks. I going to pick up some of this stuff. LOL. You saved me some research time. Metagenics Cal Matrix, which are calcium supplements. I take the recommended dose of 1500 mg. per day. I also use their Vitamin D3 called D3 1000 and I take 2000 mg per day. I also include magnesium glycinate chelate tabs and usually take 1 per day at...

    ARCHIVED Glutenology

I saw this link on Facebook. I really wonder if anyone else has seen it? This Dr Osborne has some revelations I have never read or heard in relation to Gluten. He states that all grain has gluten and is harmful. Is he right? Here is the link... Open Original Shared Link Does anyone have an idea if he is on the something? Boyd

    ARCHIVED Fosamax

Gemini, Thank you very much for the input. You mentioned that you take a big dose of supplements. May I ask which? I am 59 about 155#. I have read everywhere that weights and exercise is helpful. I am under motivated with working out. Just lazy maybe. I used to rollerblade every day, this was before I was nailed with an onslaught of celiac disease symptoms...

    ARCHIVED Fosamax

I tried to take this for my osteopenia but I felt flu like, and generally bad. When I started to read about the drug there are all kinds of serious side effects so I stopped taking it. Any opinions? I am taking Jarrow Formula Bone Up instead and have no SE's with this. It lists as such Supplement Facts Serving Size 6 capsules Servings Per Container...

    ARCHIVED Back Again

I have Osteopaenia. Same reasons as you. My dr gave me Fosamax which I took for a month and stopped as I thought I four pills were enough. The Dr never said I should continue after that, lol. I restarted and had side effects. I felt flu like, had the runs, my joints were sore, and I felt tired out. Needlss to say I called them and they said to try it again...

  13. Yes welcome. This forum is great. I like contributing too. I was so sick both physically and mentally unbalanced it still is hard to believe it was all from gluten. I drink Coconut Milk. Tastes great too. I have found a product packed with nutrients you may want to look into it. Zrii. Bye

  17. D war stories... Thar reminds me of one of the delays in my DX. I had some kind of intestinal parasite confirmed with a stool check. I took some med for it and the D just got worse and then never went away. OMG... what is wrong with doctors blindness to celiac disease. I told them that I always have D for years. I had some Champagne on Sat night...
  18. You may be depressed. I have had two bouts of depression, Feeling unmotivated, and being tired are two symptoms. And celiac disease can cause depression and a multitude of other MI like symptoms. You may want to also check for thyroid malfunction. That can make you feel that way too. BBT
  19. Good luck. I will be thinking of you. Hugs. XOXOXO BBT
  20. Yes ppl are more important. I seldom drink when with company now that I know I become another personality. You are aware of the mood swings. I can be funny, aggressive, very energetic and a very dangerous driver,or alive with mania.I tend to like the mania. I can also get very sad and show sign of true depression. I never know what the cat will bring...
  21. I think I am trying to be very careful with drinking. There is definitely a fine line. If I am home alone I will tend to get on the internet and write and sip a few Martinis. Next thing I know I am sound asleep on the couch and it's 3am. I am glad to hear it does cause anger outbursts, rather than me just being an angry person, which I am not. ...
  22. I am Boyd, and I am the friend "I am Cat", lol.. has referenced as the one that ate gluten right up to the test. My count was 32. What was you count Countess Cat? Yes you really need to learn to cook. Too bad I am not your chef. You know I'd whip you into a gluten warrior. OWWWWWWW! Boyd
