  8. Hey just wanted to know if any celiacs out there have ever gotten this bone scan test and what happened if you did have osteoporosis?? how do they treat it??
  9. i guess.......why how much shorter would it be????I have heard of people not on the diet who live till very old,i guess it just depends...I guess now i have a great chance just gets depressing sometimes but i would NEVER cheat not knowingly ingest gluten now that i know,thats just plain stupididty no food tastes better than life:)
  10. i am def staying on the diet either way.Just kind of gave me false hope:(I am greatful the diet is working in my favor tho.I am just soo scared i will die young with this or due to this.My moms sides alot of them died young(late 40's,50's,60's) from cancer, diabetes but then again they were obvously not diagnosed and ate alllotttt of pasta lol

Me either patti, he did say my blood work was high and i showed him pictures of my stomach the other gastro gave me he said it dosent look like you have celiac i need biopsy results so i sent them. I guess since is says theres evidence isnt good enough maybe the biopsy wasnt positive since it didnt state positive. I dont know how it works how did yours go...

I am 4 months into the diet and seem to be doing well at this point i have in the past had severe reactions to gluten-free bread and pasta.I am however realzing that as time goes on my reactions are either gone or getting less and less so i cut out bread and pasta for a month or 2 and now i tried a gluten free kimminick tapioca bagel was actually very good...

  21. well my father is very paranoid and depressed and has been on heavy medication most of his life.He also seems to have all the tsymptoms i have and his chronically constipated.My mother has hypothyroid and is a type 2 diabetic also has high blood pressure she thinks she might be lactose intolerant but there is a host of autoimmune,cancer on my mothers side...
  22. yes i am aware but my celiac doctor suggested i get the gene test as it is good to know what types of genes you have. If im not mistaken i think they may be able to tell what diseases you might more at risk for?

  25. man i wonder if both parents have the gene it seems they both have symptoms but like we say the symptoms are soo simliar to other diseases you never know.When you say more severe form how do your symptoms differ???Are they more severe??
