  1. wow 30 yrs god bless you!!! I first started having depression and weird symptoms here and there i didnt think much of it but i have been dealing w the stomach problems for about 2 yrs. All my blood tests always perfect and people told me im a worry wart but i knew something wasn't right so i finally told them to do a blood test for gluten sensitivty/celiac...
  2. thank you mushroom can i also ask how long you have been on the diet??? and also do you still take the digesive enzymes and probitics?? also did you find yourself to be able to tolerate more foods after a certain time?? they told me my damage was mild could of fooled me but i think i was prob undiagnosed for 3 or so yrs which isnt as bad like some others...
  3. i was also taking fish oil and even tho it said gluten free i seemed to get nausea when taking it so i stopped that and am thinking about trying a diff brand as i have heard that it does help support the brain and helps with the inflammation
  4. mushroom i take pioneer gluten-free multi vitamin a gluten-free b12 vitamin and before dinner i take a probiotic called DDS plus it has L.acidophillus and B.longum & FOS. so it is suppost to have a pre and pro biotic which i heard is very good and do see a positive change after i started i however was wondering if i should add in a digesive enzyme???...

Hello all, almost 2 months into this diet, i was doing well and this past week i added in coffee though i was doing ok until a couple days later i had severe nausea then the next day upset stomach w nausea the following day very bad depression and when i eat i get symptoms of hypoglecimia and other weird array of symptoms like a cough after eating accompanyed...

  9. thanx sand and surf i actually had quite a few symptom free days i just find if i slip up even a little bit and my moms makes me dinner (totally gluten free) or i eat something different even if naurally gluten free i get slight nausea sometimes worse worse: it seems to be getting better as i go along i just hope i wont be getting this forever its soo overwhelming...

  12. hey did you ever get nausea from it???? thats my main symptoms the stomach problems resolved on diet but if i have something with milk in it forget about it im nautious for hourss:(How long have you been pn the diet?? i use lactaid milk to but will i ever be able to have cheese and other dairy?

  15. hey riceguy, im about 6 1/2 weeks into my diet and i do see some changes especially gi wise but i realise sometimes after i eat a meal i get such a dry throat and sometimes a cough and my chest will feel heavy soo weird i swear i eliminated all gluten soo frusterasting
  16. thanx gemini since newely diagnosed i seeem to be restricting myself with going out places and living its soo rough with this disease theres soo many different opnions and responses i guess some are just more sensitive than others
  17. cass its funny you say that about your dad cause my dad has very bad eczema for as long as i could remember and he has very bad depression his whole life he strugggled on that side of my family theres not as much cancer but allergies and diabetes here and there now i cant even get started on my moms side first off my mom has thyroid diabetes type 2 had epilesy...

  19. hardcore thank you i do know that the kind of cancer is related to celiac thats why i freaked but also my intestine had minimal damamge doc said 10 being the worst i was 2 :)so that gives me hope im 27 and found it early as im very intune w my body just scary to find out such a disease exsists!
  20. gfin thank you for your helpful info i feel as though almost everything i eat causes a reaction i dunno maybe its my depression over this illness, it has a way of making you think your crazy:( I just cant live on fruit vegis and meats and no crackers or boxed things atalll i even seem to be reacting to fruits and vegis as well i feel like i cant win i think...
  21. I've had depression and anxiety before diagnosis and now 6 weeks after diagnosis anxiety is gone and depression still here:( i wish it would all go away!
  22. Hello all i know celiac disease is a heridtary condition but is the cancer also heriditary as well??? Cause my grandfather died of non hodgkins lymphoma but he was never diagnosed and not aware of his condition.It scares me and makes me think is it more in my genes a predispostion to develop cancer than the rest or it just a matter of sticking to the diet...
