  1. I am so tired of not feeling well and having flare ups! As I had said in a previous post, not all flare ups are caused by being glutened. What I have found is that many of these flare ups are now due to food sensitivities that I previously was unaware of until I stopped consuming gluten rich foods. Sometimes with a gluten intolerance and food sensitivities...
  2. I think that could be it, too. I had been constipated for about 4 days - and then something set it off - how weird that one can alternate like this - from one extreme to the other.
  3. I use the Udi's white and I have no problems with the Silk Almond Vanilla. I also bought some Coconut Chocolate Ice Cream (gluten free) and no problems there as well
  4. Possibly there is another intolerance I am not aware of in the milk - although the milk is made by the same manufacturer, Silk - the ingredients in the milk differ somewhat. But I have been extremely careful in what I have been eating - and I eat a very, very limited diet right now - with no deviations except for the almond chocolate milk. The milk...
  5. I have not eaten gluten products for about a month now and have been keeping a food diary to know which foods I am sensitive to. But when I get an attack, it is not gluten that gets to me - it is the food intolerances that sneak up and do you in! I had been eating gluten free chocolate cake (without soy or fructose) and I did great with it. I had been...
  6. I have not seen it here in Florida - but will keep looking - I will check and see if there is a product locator. Thanks.
  7. I think this is a very individual thing - and also once you know you have either a gluten sensitivity or celiac - you may find that you have developed other sensitivities as well. I know that after my first flare up, I no longer could eat corn chips, potatoes, soy, grains of any kind, nightshade vegetables - potatoes, tomatoes, green peppers, dairy, high...
  8. I wish there were a support group near me or people in my area I could speak with by phone. You know to discuss where to eat, where to shop for gluten free products, maybe recommend a good gastroenterologist who understood celiac and/or gluten intolerance in the area, etc. My support group is all of you and I am truly blessed to be here. My husband is...
  9. Silk has come out with a new, pure almond milk and I am in Heaven It is delicious! And, they are now offering a $.75 coupon for you to try it too! So, if you are interested - do get your coupon here Open Original Shared Link and try it out. It's yummy!
  10. I would be interested too - since I live there as well.....
  11. If you check the other Kraft cheeses - you will see that they do not add the mold inhibitor - and the cheese I bought from Publix markets (USA) say all their cheese products are gluten free and no mold inhibtor is listed as an ingredient. But regardless of whether mold inhibitor is or is not gluten free - those who used to eat Udi's bread and who did not...
  12. I think I found out why - after reviewing the ingredients - they have added a mold inhibitor which may be a sensitivity problem. I know with the Kraft Cracker Barrel cheese - this has been added as well - which may be why Kraft does not have this cheese on its gluten free web page. The other cheeses yes, but not this particular brand. The inhibitor is...
  13. Thanks for the link. And how do they taste?
  14. I went to the store and found the purely decadent ice creams. They did not have the chocolate coconut milk one but all the others they did have did contain soy I read each label for the other flavors....boo hoo!
  15. Thanks - I will see if there is a web site and product locator - I really need that fix!!
  16. I keep hearing the phrase, "I've been glutened!" When you are "glutened" what are your symptoms? And when you say you are glutened, are you sure it is gluten or maybe a reaction to something you could be sensitive to? I know I now have many sensitivities that when I come into contact with that type of food - I get stomach cramps, diarrhea, queasy stomach...
  17. Thanks Michelle - I will see if I can find these local but stay afway from truffle...
  18. thanks - I'll check these out - need my chocolate fix!
  19. I was overjoyed to find that Betty Crocker has made some gluten free mixes - but alas, I can not tolerate them due to the soy added. I thought it was just a reaction to chocolate - so we tried the yellow mix and I had the same reaction. In the past, I never had a problem with many foods. Now about 4 months later after this all started - I have more sensitivities...
  20. I have found so many gluten free chocolates - but everyone I have found has some form of soy included in the ingredients. Can you recommend to me some chocolate that is gluten plus soy free? I am so a chocoholic and I am no longer able to tolerate the many foods that have soy in combination to the chocolate. Thanks for your help!
  21. Sorry to tell you this - but do not take anyone's word unless you find out for yourself. I just wrote Ponds and this is the response I got..... Thank you for writing us regarding Pond's Cold Cream . Pond's Moisturizers and Cleansers are not necessarily gluten-free. We use plant based materials such as starches and wheat proteins regularly in our products...
  22. thanks for the replies - I will pick up the ointment you mentioned and give it a try!
  23. I have had this kind of rash on my rear end for years. A long time ago, when I went for my general checkup, my Primary Care physician looked at it and said it was like a kind of acne on my rear end and not to worry. Just recently I found out I was gluten intolerant and have gone on a gluten free diet (it is about a month now). My question is - if I stick...
