    Well my son is going to have a second biopsy for celiac on Monday and they are also going to do a colonoscopy. The poor kid does ok for about 10 days to 2 weeks then begins vomitting for a week.     Nancy, Trust yourself and the way that you feel. Tell your GI doctor that you would like the endo and a complete celiac blood panel done. Not sure how accurate a mini gluten-free challenge is, try it for a couple of weeks and see how you feel.     Yvonne, My son has the same symptoms along with actual vomitting. He had a Hydrogen Breath Test done for lactose intolerance which came back positive. This test can also detect bacterial overgrowth. It takes about 2 hours, other than that it is an easy test, you just blow into this tube every 30 minutes.     Jen, the ulcers are from his acid reflux. I read that Eosinophilic Esophagitis can be aggravated by lactose if you are intolerant. My brain is so fried right now trying to keep up with researching possible causes, the doctor trips, the diets, the meds, the school work, etc....... I plan to put him on complete dairy free diet and take it from there...

    My son's doctor called with the test results. He is definatly lactose intolerant and he also has some major bacterial overgrowth going on. I asked if this met caseine free as well and the nurse said no. She also indicated that the vomiting this time around was definatly brought on by the lactose he drank for the test.     I second that on the Namaste mix. More specifically the brownie mix. My birthday was 2 weeks ago and my son used the Namaste brownie mix (you will have to use egg replacer).
