  1. Burningitoff,....Way to go! Congratulations! And thank you for the reminder.
  2. Thanks for the replies. I haven't noticed any other changes yet. Man, I wish the brain fog would lift but my seasonal allergies may have something to do with that as well. Stay healthy!
  3. Re: tortillas I like the whole foods one much better but I will try the rinse and nuke method.
  4. I don't have any advice but just wanted to say good luck to you!
  5. This conversation has convinced me to toss my wooden spoons and strainer...I didn't even think of that! ugh $$$$
  6. At this point I'll try anything to get some sleep..LOL
  7. Thank you for this information. I had the tingling really bad, hands, feet, chest, face etc. I went to the ER one night thinking I was having a heart atack at 30! That was 4 years ago and I was just diagnosed. I wish more doctors knew to check for celiac disease when a patient presents tingling hands and feet. Years of needless suffering could be eliminated...
  8. I started my gluten-free diet on April 14th and shortly thereafter noticed that the skin on my face has become so soft and looks so much better. Has anyone else noticed this soft skin side effect (not that I am complaining lol)?
  9. For what it's worth I am a lesbian too and every celiac I know is also a lesbian. I don't know what it means but it's interesting.
  10. Thank you so much for this helpful information from a fellow NYer!
