  1. OMG! I did not know bread was going to be such an issue...I just posted about which machine, etc. Then I see this post that mentions even more ingredients that I have not heard of! Maybe I will just skip bread all together, cuz if you guys cant get it right then I surely an not gonna get it right...
  2. New to gluten free eating/baking/cooking but the 1st lesson I learned from my local gluten-free grocery was that brown rice flour should be thrown into a magic bullet/ninja/food processor before being used. It makes it not gritty. I have not tried it, just thought I would pass on the info...

The detox books I have read were for people switching to a vegetarian lifestyle, but I think some of the info would cross over. Hope that helps...
  7. I am 3 weeks in and would have never thought of checking the Maalox bottle. I did just check my generic brand of liquid antacid as soon as I saw your post and thank goodness it is gluten-free cuz I just bought a bunch!
  8. I jst had a hysterectomy & during my pre-op appts I complained abt my stomach issues. Dr said we could discuss @ post op check up & determine if I hv ulcer. Was out w friends, 1 of whom has celiac disease, complaining abt headaches, fatigue, stomach, etc. When celiac disease friend suggested it was celiacs. So I tried gluten-free diet 4 a few...
