  1. I'm having a BBQ with some friends, so I'm making homemade veggie burgers, peppery roasted potatoes, a spinach salad with strawberries, and a macaroni salad. Should be tasty on such a warm beauitful day

  3. I was officially diagnosed in March of this year, but had been told around X-mas that I probably had it. I feel some differences since going gluten-free, but I know that I have a long way to go.

  5. I would also suggest what many others have: to eat before and consider bringing something for yourself. You can even offer to make an entire dish or two for occasions like this, so you at least have something you can eat. I would also say to be assertive.   8. Sorry, I'm new here but thought I'd chime in. Tonight I'm having a homemade veggie burger (made with beans, veggies, nuts, and lots of herbs and spices), a homemade gluten-free bun and homemade garlic aoili. I'm serving that with a simple salad (spinach, red cabbage, carrots, with homemade maple syrup dressing) and peppery roasted potatoes.
  9. Hi, I know this is a bit late, but I thought I would respond to this anyway. I'm a vegan, and also recently gluten-free (3 months), and I know how hard it can be to eat out at restaurants. One suggestion I have would be to try to stick to vegan or vegetarian restaurants. I don't know what it's like in San Deigo, but I find in my city that restaurants that...
