  1. Hi all, I haven't been searching forums for celiac solutions for months now ... but I figured I should come back to these forums to let everyone know what helped me. Basically, I found that cutting wheat out wasn't enough for me. All grains caused an issue, even though it was exceedingly hard to trace my problems back to grains - because my effects would...
  2. I can tell you from my experience -- this WORKS. completely, completely works. I have Celiac and IC... and every day I would experience sharp, jolting pain in my abdomen... like someone was taking a knife to it and scratching. For over a year, I've been Gluten free and it's helped but not insanely... I've always been waiting for the symptoms to go away while...
  3. Thanks! I am having great success so far with it... it makes perfect sense to me. About 3 days ago I was still feeling scratching and pain in my abdomen but now I am without pain! Still bloated, but I hope healing. Here is an relevant, fascinating article: Open Original Shared Link "Whatever happened to the cure for coeliac disease?"
  4. I am about to start the SCD diet because there are raving reviews (~270) on Amazon about how it gets rid of all the symptoms of Celiac. http://www.(Company Name Removed - They Spammed This Forum and are Banned)/Breaking-Vicious-Cycle-Intestinal-Through/dp/0969276818 I was wondering if anyone here has tried it? I'm very excited.
  5. I found this highly informative and thought I would share it with yall : ) Open Original Shared Link
  6. Actually gluten does stay in your ""gut"". I would link to pages but this site seems to be suspicious of linking. Just do a simple search. It sticks to the walls of your intestines and also fills in pockets of the villi -- it can last there for a very long time, and rots as it sits there, causing more illness. Cleansing your gut is imperative.
  7. Try activated charcoal to absorb it so it just passes through your gut!!
  8. You should look into taking digestive enzymes to break down the gluten that is already in your gut. And also I use Triphala and it works wonders at cleansing the gut. Also - your tiredness might be coming from a thyroid condition because folks with gluten sensitivity often have a weakened thyroid because this is an autoimmune disorder.
  9. No you are not a wimp! I work from home and took 7 months off of work right after I got diagnosed.
  10. I have had extreme gluten sensitivity for 6+ years and only figured it was gluten as of last year. I've just lived with immense pain in my GI tract and depression and low energy and anxiety and the rest. I've been avidly trying to clean myself ever since then. And I've picked up some info along the way that I'd like to share. Everyone should listen...
  11. Folks with gluten intolerance are EXTREMELY sensitive ... forget it if others don't get it.
  12. I'm with clarieyb on this one. Check your thyroid again. It controls your metabolism. I'm not sure what tests they took but just because you don't show up with a thyroid disease doesn't mean you have thyroid problems - which usually are difficult to detect in external symptoms beyond fatigue, depression, and low metabolism.
