    I would suggest keeping a food diary if you aren't already. Have you changed anything in your diet lately? If you drink coffee or another caffeinated beverage in the morning, have you changed how much you consume? Also, you may want to try drinking more water, especially first thing. Hope this helps.

    Thanks, pricklypear. That's very interesting about the low-grade fever. My mom has Hashimoto's but when my doctor did thorough testing of my thyroid, all was quite normal. I was confused because, as I've read through how to de-gluten your kitchen, I've seen that spices can contain gluten...so I was concerned that spices used in commercially-produced food could also have it in there.
