    ARCHIVED Frustrated!

Thank you. I will. I've just been so busy, I haven't had a chance.

    ARCHIVED Frustrated!

Thank you so much. I appreciate all the advice. Like I said, I'm doing a little better the past two days, but still minor swelling I think. It's hard to tell, because I am swollen so much. The swelling is just a part of the food reaction. It doesn't seem like many people have as bad a problem of this as I do though. ?? So, juicing can be bad even though it...

    ARCHIVED Frustrated!

What if I just took 2 mulit-vitamins instead of 1 per day? Or, does it really make a difference that I buy individual vitamins that I may be deficient to? Like I said, I will do whatever it takes in order to get better, but I will try to save money in every way possible. I am also deficient on Vitamin D. Does this cause a lot of problems as well? Thanks.

Thank you. How much B complex should we be getting per day? Does the B complex include B12 or do you always have to get B12 separately? I'm already broke financially, so I would like to save wherever possible.

    ARCHIVED Frustrated!

Thank you both. I am feeling a little better today. I just ate the leftover chicken and some spinach/celery juice (freshly juiced). There is no soy in any of the supplements I am taking. And I don't think it is in any of the products/makeup I am using either, but I will double check. Can you recommend a good brand of B vitamin complex to take? I have been...

    ARCHIVED Frustrated!

A few of the doctors checked my thyroid a couple times and it was ok. No, I haven't heard of salicylates or amines intolerances? Do you have those? I'll look it up. Thanks for the info.
  7. I'm not even sure where to start. I'm so frustrated with being sick for over 2 years now. First, every time I was tested for celiac, the tests were negative, but recently the genetic test was positive. Everything else was negative again. So, my Dr. and I think that it is likely I have celiac, but we are not sure since my diets have not been helping me. I...
  8. Hi. I am going through my OTC medications and I'm trying to figure out which ones are safe or not. Has anyone found any generic OTC drugs that are for sure gluten free? Which generic brands are the safest? I have Kroger Acetaminophen and the ingredients look safe, but I can't be sure. Does anyone know if Kroger is safe for Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen? I also...
  9. Hi. I was wondering if any of you know which makeup remover towelettes are safe to use (gluten-free and chemical free). I have been using Pond's towelettes as well as the cheaper version (Equate facial cleansing towelettes). I don't see any obvious gluten ingredients in them, but it looks like a lot of harsh chemicals. Are they ok to use? If not, are there...
  10. Hi. I have been reading through several posts about Bath and Body Works and Victoria's Secret products, but the posts are years old and I'm still confused about whether or not they are safe (gluten free, harsh chemical free). I am currently using Desert Essence body lotion since I am trying to only use the least harmful products (I am extremely sensitive...
  11. Hi. I was wondering if you ever got a response back from Almay. I have been using the Almay intense i-color eyeliner and eyeshadow for years and I love the colors. But, if they have gluten and are adding to my reactions I don't want to keep using them. Thanks!
  12. Hello. I was hoping that I could get some advice from all of you on a good gluten free/Sodium Laureth Sulfate free face wash. I have oily/combination skin and my skin is pretty sensitive and prone to acne. I've been reacting to so many foods and products that I'm pretty sure that I need to avoid SLS, but I am not positive. It is hard to keep up with what...
  13. Hi. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for gluten-free, DF, soy free, yeast free, corn free probiotics and digestive enzymes? I'm currently taking digest gold w/ probiotics, and I like it, but I just realized that it has Non GMO soy oil in it. I started the GAPS diet, so I now need to avoid soy as well. I'm thinking that soy may have been a...
  14. Thanks! If I take digestive enzymes w/ probiotic, B12, multi-vit, and cod liver oil do you think it is too much? I'm on the GAPS intro, so I'm not sure if it will affect the diet or not. Do you think it is essential that I take all of those, or maybe just a few? Thanks!
  15. Great! Thanks!
  16. Jenny, do you use the source naturals bilingual cherry flavored or the tablets? I'd like to order it, but I want to make sure I order the right one. Thanks!
  17. Thanks! What multi do you use?
  18. Thank you!! All of this helps a lot! Have you tried the Ghee or the homemade yogurt at all, or did you just avoid it because of your intolerance? I am also afraid, but kinda curious to see if I react to it. Do you think the fermented cod liver oil is a lot better than other types of cod liver oil? In other words, do you think it is worth it to spend the extra...
  19. Hi, I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good B12 (preferrably sublingual) that is dairy free, soy free, gluten-free, corn free, yeast free, etc.? All of the brands I'm finding have lactose in them. Thanks! Also, feel free to recommend a good multi-vitamin as well (free of gluten, dairy, soy, yeast, corn, etc.) I'm having a hard time deciding on the...
  20. Also, where can I buy the fermented cod liver oil, B12, and good multi-v for a decent price? I know that these are all pretty pricey, but I was wondering if you knew of any discounted websites. Thanks!
  21. Thank you for all the advice and links! I'm making some bone broth as I type I've gone through the GAPS book, but I don't see much about fermented veggies in there. It has sauerkraut listed, but doesn't really go into too much detail about the importance of fermented veggies. I know that it is important in the GAPS diet, but I was hoping to find more info...
  22. Thanks for all the recommendations and advice. That is so great to hear that all of you have done so well on the GAPS diet. I'm looking forward to starting it and can't wait to see the results. Where did you buy the B12 and cod liver oil and what brands are they? Thanks again!
  23. Thanks! I will. Off the topic, are you taking a multi-vitamin or any other supplements? What do you recommend? I just realized that my multi-v has soy in it. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
