  1. Thank you for that link and for all your advice. Sorry for all the questions, but it sounds like GAPs is pretty much just soup (bone broth, meat, veggies). Is this true? I do love soup, meat, and veggies, but it may be hard for me to stick to the same thing for months on end, or even years. ?? I do need to read the gaps book, I've just been so busy. Just...
  2. Thank you so much!! So, in your opinion, do you think it is best to start with the GAPS diet or the Paleo? I have not read the GAPS book yet, but that is the same one that I have.
  3. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good gluten-free, df, soy free, corn free, yeast free multi-vitamin. I just realized that the one I'm taking, Nature's Plus Ultra Pre-Natal has soy in it, but is free of everything else. I'm not pregnant, but I was taking it because of the extra vitamins. I'm low on D and I also have some problems with Copper, and this...
  4. I am also interested in making some homemade gluten-free, df, corn free, soy free soups. Do you have any recommendations or recipes of soups that you have made? I don't currently own a crock pot, so I've never made any soups in a crock pot, but I am going to buy one. Any homemade recipes would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
  5. Are there specific books that I should get? I own the "Gut and Psychology Syndrome" one, but I don't know if there are any more specific GAPS diet books out there. ?? Also, which one for Paleo is best? Thank you!
  6. Thank you so much everyone! I truly appreciate it! I will have to read up on the Paleo and GAPS Diets, so I can decide which one I think is best. What is SCD? Is it true that the GAPS is more healing? Whatever one I do, I do still need to avoid gluten, soy, corn (most likely), and dairy. On the dairy, I am not sure if I am just Casein intolerant or what...
  7. Hi. I've been sick for over 2 years now, and right now my Dr. thinks it is very possible that I have Celiac. The genetic blood test was positive, but the other Celiac tests, including endoscopies were negative. However, I have had a positive for a gluten intolerance as well as many many other food/chemical intolerances ((Company Name Removed - They Spammed...
  8. Thanks! There were just a few posts about it saying that there was gluten in it, and it scared me. Will do.
  9. Thank you! I appreciate the advice. I don't see any obvious gluten ingredients, but with all the reading I'm doing on this forum, I'm not so sure. What about hydrolyzed wheat protein? There are mixed reviews on this..some say it's ok to use, and some say not to use it. ??
  10. Hi everyone. I am new to celiac (being diagnosed anyways) and I have been using Enzymedica Digest Gold w/ Probiotics for awhile now. I feel like it helps me a lot; I seem to react less to various foods as I have in the past. I have lots of food intolerances besides gluten that I'm still trying to figure out. I make sure I avoid gluten of course, but I've...
  11. Hi, I was recently diagnosed with celiac. I knew I had a gluten intolerance, as well as multiple foods, but I didn't know how severe it was till years later. I'm still trying to figure out the foods I react to and what I can eat. I'm having a hard time with it. I just discovered that my favorite face wash, Origins checks and balances, has wheat in it! I've...
  12. I too react to sulphites and I love wine! I recently discovered that they do have sulfite free wine. If you go to a store that sells lots of wines, you should be able to find it. I found 1 at Trader Joe's and a few others at Total Wine. The brands are Frey and Old Mother (something like that, lol). The white wine has only "naturally occuring sulfites" and...
