  3. Stephanie my rhuemy picked up on mine as well. My ANA is always positive and SCL-70 too. My Complement 3 is usually low, but this has nothing to do woth the ALk.... test. I have found some info. on this and celiac is one of the reasons as well as b12 and other things. Chelse offered a very informative URL, thanks for that! The reason I want to pursue...
  4. Lister, If you see my post about the ALK PHOP. One of my complaints to my Dr. at my six month appt. was the "buzzing" type feeling I am getting in my feet I can occasionally get it in my hands and parts of my face. I also have raynauds though and that complicates a diagnosis. It feels to me like some kind of electric static. The low ALk... reading might...
  5. I also checked that URL and found nothing. I googled around and found only one site that had about the same info. that you posted. There just does not seem to be a lot of info. on low levles out there. Annie
  6. Thanks Bully, I will check out the site you posted. I am also being treated for lupus/scleroderma so I have a lot going on. I thought each lab had it's own range and each evaluation might be different according to that particular labs criteria. I say this because mine was deffinately flagged as low. Thanks again for the info and the site. I don't...
  7. I had my 6 month appt. with my rheumatoligist;I won't get into that. Well upon getting home I was looking over my labs and my ALK PHOPHATASE was flagged at 35 normal range 42-125 for my lab. What would cause this? I have been having some indigestion and was given protonix. HE also refeered me back to the GI. I don't know my appt. as of yet. I really...
  8. Surely someone has tried this recipe? I have used a lot of recipes off this site with great success. If even the person who posted it would reply as they have first hand knowledge. Thanks, Annie
  9. Is this recipe only good for biscuits? I was looking for a sub. for bisquick flour that I use to use for making pancakes. I love pamela's, but still miss my old standby bisquick type. Annie
  10. I have not been on this forum for a while but I still browse through for recipes. Whoever is responsible for posting the choc. cake recipe (the one that uses coffee) is absolutely terrific. It has no grittyness to it at all!!!! The texture is wonderfull and my whole family enjoys it. Just wanted to send a note of thanks to the person responsible for the...
  11. Hope this helps.... I have tried several mixes and the one I like best is Pamela's. I think it's the almond flour in it that gives it such good flavor. These always cook up well. I also use them to make muffins of all varities As someone mentioned weather does play a roll in the cooking of pancakes, but these are never runny, if anything you may have...
  12. Dear Kactuskanddee, Thank you, Thank you, I am going to try this tonight ! Annie
  13. I could not find the recipe. I am hoping if I repost this someone will post a recipe as chebe bread seems to be a favorite of a lot of people here. Annie
  14. Dear Ipelleger, Nestle Toll House Cookies come out great if you want a cookie that your family was use to pre gluten-free. All you have to do is sub. the flour using 3 cups of rice flour. I use half brown and halh white. When you use the recipe flour the instructons on the bag precisely and never omit the nuts, they help bing the flour. My oven is...
  15. My Local health food store (the only one around) just got in chebe bread. My son and I love it ! It has the "normal" bread taste that we were use to before going gluten-free. I looked at the ingredients and all it says is tapioca flour, tapioca starch, and dry milk. Although I really like it, it is quite pricey here. I wonder if someone has come up with...
  16. Hello Everyone, Don't know if anyone has ever posted this one before. I have a step-daughter signing -up for confirmation. During this time I took advantage of the priest time to ask him to look up the ingredients in the communion, sure enough it contains wheat. Now I now their are a lot of different religions, so I hope that I am not offending anyone...
  17. O.K., O.K., I give in, UNCLE. I know I am probably not going to have another beer for a long time. I live in such a rural area of northern N.Y. To give everyone a better understanding of this ,we just got 911 a few months ago!!!!!!!!!!! So I guess I am going to have to get used to mixed drinks and with Labor Day picnics approaching I was wondering...
  18. Yes, I was afraid about using hot dogs because of the mixed-up ingredients too. I have used the "Brats" and they are very good. Had not thought about Hebrew National they are a little more expensive but are very good hot dogs. Thanks, AnnieMarie
  19. I hope that everyone enjoys this reipe as much as my son and I did! It is amazing how much you can miss something once you can't have it anymore, even if it a simple thing like a hamburger on a bun. Over the lips and pass the gums, look -out stomach here it comes!!!!! Annie

  22. Thanks for the posts, but I have tried the kinnikinnik bread and he does not like that one either. I find it to be very good, but it is not like your ordinary wonder bread. He will eat the homemade breads when they come out of the oven and are still warm, after that he does not like the smell or the taste. No Sandra I do not own that book but it...

  24. Hello Everyone, As the start of school is quickly approaching, I am still nervous about being able to provide a satifactory lunch for my son.
