  1. Right there with ya! almost 3 years post diagnosis and I've gained 20+ pounds outta nowhere. I monitor every thing I eat, count my calories, exercise and don't snack or eat anything processed...Yet the weight continues!. (oh and my labs are all normal). My GI said the same thing..."It'll get better after your guy heals." Uh,...still waiting for that! It...
  2. I've found that i've developed several fruit sensitivities since going Gluten-Free. My GI thinks it has to do with the fructose...my small intestines can't tolerate it any more. (fructose intolerance). A few slices of watermelon or a handful of grapes and I'm done for.
  3. I had this same thing happen to me last night (pork ribs). I've never been so violently sick and today I feel like I was hit by a truck. A few weeks ago I cooked a pork tenderloin and had a similar reaction-I wrote it off to the marinade or undercooking it. Now I'm not so sure...especially after so meticulously selecting my ingredients and reading your post...
  4. That's exactly it: I'm going through the phases of grief! I'm through denial and now I'm in anger... Re: the food sensitivities, it's weird ...I practically lived on guacamole and now it causes me such pain it's unbearable. I keep a food journal and do the whole exclusion thing to determine what exactly is giving me problems and I now can not eat brussel...
  5. Glad I'm not the only one...I'm newly diagnosed (6 months) and trying to navigate the gluten-free world (sometimes successfully). Ever since the diagnosis I've had a feeling of anger just lurking below the surface. Now, I'm starting to develop other food sensitivities that I've never had! (normal, I read) Grrrrr!!!! I'm just pissed! sorry to sound so negative...
