  1. My thoughts are that yes....you stirred up more toxins than your body was able to excrete. Also old injury sites are areas that tend to accumulate toxins. Do you have a scar there from surgury?? I've read alot about scars causing disturbances in the body. I posted it awhile back. If you're interested I'll re-post it. My Dr. who does ART looks for scar...
  2. I took glutamine a few years ago and it did not help. I think the key is understanding what it is that is causing gut damage to begin with. If its foods...then why?? Our bodies should be able to break down these foods w/out problems....its not normal to react this way to foods...so why is that happening?? Thats the way my mind always works. If the answer...
  3. I found a netipot at Whole Foods. They had 3 different colors...NO PINK! I was gonna get the cute purple one but then I realized I have no idea what to do with it. So I need some help from the Rachelvillers and then I'll go back and get it next week. There was directions on how to *use* it but what am I supposed to put in it?? Just warm...
  4. My diet change was pretty drastic...I went from normal food (which for me was mainly processed junk) to strict organic veggies and meat. I felt ALOT worse for the first week and then during the second week the depression was GONE...I came out of the fog I'd been living in for two years prior to that. Its been over two years now and I've never relapsed...
  5. Women who are pregnant should not get an MMR....its not recommended. Hopefully most Dr.'s would know that. Of course...as we all know...there are way too many uninformed Dr's out there who make very bad decisions. As far as a cause for these children having weakened immune systems at birth I'm leaning toward Borrelia...the bacteria that causes...
  6. I did a quick search on the Lyme board last night....found that other posters have had the Aspergillus problem as well. Most of the posts I read were aspergillus sinus infections....a couple had aspergillus seen in the blood. NOONE mentioned black eyes and blood coming out of their nose as a result of the aspergillus infection. I've been on my...
  7. Awww Judy. That damn coffee! You are one strong lady....I know you can get frusterated (we all do) but you wont give up cuz you're a fighter just like the rest of us! Dont let it ruin your day....get back in the yard and continue with what you love to do.
  8. Along with the diet restrictions I'm mainly doing alternative/biomedical treatments for my health issues. Alot of it is similar to what McCarthy has done with her son. My Dr.'s specialize in chronic disease as well as autism....since working with them I have made alot of improvement. I'm glad your daughter is feeling better too.
  9. Florence, These replies to your posts ended up in the OMG thread so I'm re-posting them here. They are Rinne's replies. Hi FLorence, I still think of Rachelville a happening place though it is much quieter these days than it once was, you can be anything you want to be in Rachelville as long as you observe the spirit of Rachelville....
  10. This is exactly what I went through with the Dr.'s trying to force the AD's on me. Yes...the depression does make the physical stuff worse....no doubt about it....but I knew 100% that this was a symptom of whatever was going on with my health. My brain was affected by whatever it was that the Dr.'s couldnt figure out. The physical and the emotional were all...
  11. I love that Rinne. Catesfolly is in the Oxalate thread....I will transfer your replies to her posts over to that thread. All of the squashes bother me (even more than the sweet potatoes/yams) actually. I'm pretty sure they are all high oxalate. I know summer squash, acorn squash, zucchinni, pumpkin, butternut and winter squash have all...
  12. Heres more about fungi/oxalate connection...
  13. I agree that the vaccines play a role but it would not be difficult for them to rule out vaccinations as a direct cause since there are other triggers...and not every child with Autism has been vaccinated. Some children are born already showing signs of Autism and some parents who have chosen not to vaccinate their children have not been able to prevent...
  14. Donna, I wanted to post this for you. I do think the ALA was most likely causing your Charlie Brown yukiness. Anyway...this is from Anna's original report to Dr. S. Did heavy metals show up in your BioSET testing?? Heavy Metals: Sensitivity to heavy metals indicates a high correlation between the presence of heavy metals, an inability...
  15. Thanks Judy....I know I've said it before but you are AMAZING as well. One of my favorite people who has never failed to brighten my darkest days.
  16. Hi Gail! Looking forward to seeing how you do on the diet. I hope you do get some positive results. I know for me these foods are definately off limits. They cause immediate aggravation of the already swollen tissue in my sinuses/jaw. This has been going on for so long and I've been avoiding the "trigger" foods for quite some time...but not...
  17. Florence, I've read that article on CFS/glutathione a couple times before and yes....glutathione and the whole methylation cycle are critical for detoxification. Thats the main role of glutathione but things are going wrong in the body when these systems are not functioning as they should...and when the body isnt able to manufacture glutathione as it normally...
  18. Patti...you cracked me up with that. Yeah...I'm over it now and I've actually been having some good laughs about it. Yup...I didnt want to waste another minute because I've blown it off a couple times already. I think too many signs are pointing me in that direction cuz it keeps popping back up. Thanks so much for starting that thread...
  19. Ok...Dr. S. called me back. I explained the whole story to him. To get an aspergillus infection the immune system has to be compromised. I had told the nurse-in-training this....and that I suspected the mercury was damaging my immune system thus making me susceptible to infections. She said if I had a bone marrow transplant or something...
  20. Patti...I went to my current moronic conventional Dr. I think I need to switch to one thats a little less moronic.....there must be someone out there in that field that doesnt suck. I wanted to find out about the Aspergillus. This is the third time I've researched it but I never end up following through on it....this time I want to pursue it...
  21. I just got back from the worst Dr. appt. I've had in nearly 2 years. The only reason I didnt walk out in tears is because I *know* that I dont have to rely on these arrogant I-dont-know-anything-but-I-wear-a-white-coat-and-pretend-to-know-it-ALL... idiot mainstream Dr.'s to get better. Yeah....it sucked to say the least. I had terrible flashbacks...
  22. Hmmmm...I dunno Judy. Its interesting that so many of your family members had the pulmonary fibrosis. I did read that Aspergillus can cause that. It seems like the Aspergillus infections occur mainly when the immune system is already weakened. In my case I was going through all that stuff with mercury when I started having the sinus symptoms...
  23. I've been reading all kinds of stuff about fungi and oxalates...seems like several species are oxalate producing but especially Aspergillus. Oxalate crystals found in lung tissue or sinuses are a diagnostic clue to Aspergillus infection. All of this soooo much explains my symptoms as well as my severe sensitivity to molds/yeasts/mycotoxins...
  24. Julie...I'm totally with you on that!! I'm loving that she is bringing up all these issues and putting in the faces of the medical community. I'm praying that people do start to take notice and question what the mainstream Dr.'s are telling them. This info. *can* blow the top off....but only if people out there are listening and wanting to understand...
  25. I hope everything goes well with your muscle testing. I think its great that your Dr. is having you take the DMPS and EDTA to test as well. Alot of people do have sensitivities to these which can cause unpleasant symptoms. People also tend to develop a sensitivity after a few sessions so it might be good to have her retest you if you begin to notice any...
