Julie....thanks for the links. Judy copied your post over to the Jenny McCarthy/View thread. Here was my joyful response. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Words cannot even describe how happy I am that this is FINALLY getting out there. Autism *is* an epidemic and hopefully more and more... -

Patti, I was diagnosed with TMJ too. I went to like 3 TMJ specialists who all said that my jaw was so messed up they didnt even know where to begin with me. OK...so in a matter of only a couple months I went from totally normal jaw (no pain) to one of the worst cases of TMJ they've ever seen?? Obviously that doesnt just "happen". I also got sent... -

Most of the stuff I'm taking comes from my Dr. I couldnt take any supplements that I'd tried on my own and I pretty much react to everything I buy at the store...no matter how "pure" it is. My Dr.'s test me with different types of energetic testing (Kinesiolgy or ART). This type of testing lets them know what my body needs, what it will tolerate and... -

Citric acid is derived from Aspergillus fermentation. It does NOT come from citrus as most people believe. Yup...I also react to anything "yeasty"....incuding anything fermented (even yogurt). I react very badly to citric acid and have avoided it for a couple years now. My very elevated yeast antibodies were IgM antibodies....that was almost a... -

Words cannot even describe how happy I am that this is FINALLY getting out there. Autism *is* an epidemic and hopefully more and more people will turn their backs on the medical community that continues to do *nothing* to get these kids better. The alternative treatments are working!! Its not just the kids who are suffering from the issues mentioned... -

Judy...the first time Aspergillus came up it was when I was going to BioSET and having electrodermal screening. I was going there for months and the Aspergillus was always showing up....same with candida. My practitioner was suspecting these were some heavy issues for me and ordered blood tests for both. My yeast antibodies were through the roof...one... -

I'm thinking the Aspergillus might be the main culprit for me. Even though I do experience some gut problems (Patti do you recall the sweetpotato/yam weight loss heinosities??) the vast majority of my pain and inflammation is from the shoulders up. Mainly in my neck/head. The Dr. said alot of my symptoms would be caused by the Aspergillus since it mainly... -

So I think I found the answer to my oxalate problem. As most of you know I have major fungal issues (specifically candida and aspergillus) as a result of mercury and other heavy metals accumulating to high levels. I found another source of oxalates....candida, aspergillus infections and bacteria overgrowths all produce oxalates. This makes alot... -

I've actually never believed anything I've ever read from Quackwatch. I dont even have any interest in what that guy says....EVER. He is anti - everything that is alternative. And I mean *everything*. You can look up anything that is ever used in alternative treatments and this guy has written an article bashing it. He is not a reliable source of info... -

Sorry Julie...I didnt see your post. Proteolytic enzymes used to break down fibrin: Rechts Regulat* Lumbrokinase* Nattokinase* Boluoke* Wobenzym N* Vitalzym X. Bromelain Carnivora Mega Serrazyme PR-390 Some of them are derived from soy...so be careful of that if you're sensitive. The ones with asteriks are what most people use. ... -

PART 3 Note: The above approach is no different from my own treatment. The adults who are sick from Lyme/coinfections/toxicity/viruses/yeast/etc...are dealing with many of the same things identified in Autism. The approach is the same...although in each case there are different toxins, infections, imbalances, defects, etc....different obstacles... -

Ok....heres my Lyme/Autism post. PART 1 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For now noone knows what role Lyme plays in Autism....it is only known that up to 90% of the kids test positive for Borrelia (the bacteria which causes Lyme). This is a relatively new finding and as of now there hasnt been any research... -

I hope so Patti. I pray for this everyday. Too many people are suffering and not getting anywhere with the mainstream Dr.'s. The medical community is very AGAINST the ones who are out there making a difference.....like the Dr.'s I'm currently seeing. Its not right and I do hope that these Dr.'s start getting the recognition they deserve and I hope more... -

The vacinations are definately a trigger for autism but they are not the whole story. Theres more going on and there are kids out there who did not get vaccinated and yet they still have Autism. There is definately more than one trigger for it...I dont think they will ever find a direct link to *one* single thing...because its a multitude of things... -

I missed the show but I agree that bringing up Celiac might confuse the viewers. Also some parents might get the impression that the diet only benefiets those autistic children who might also have Celiac. They really are two completely seperate conditions. Its great that Jenny is getting the word out to the parents that the diet can make a huge difference... -

I've posted alot about "sticky blood"....hypercoagulation. Treatment for that is heparin (perscription) or some specific enzymes that you take away from food which break down fibrin. I dont know about food-related hypercoagulation but typically thickened blood is caused by an immune response to toxins and infections. Pretty much everyone who's chronically... -

No...its not just you. I've been noticing it for a long time now. Actually the rate of chronic illness is increasing pretty steadily in adults...a big part of the symptom picture is allergies...including food intolerances. As always gluten and dairy would top the list. Seems that theres an awful lot of leaky guts nowadays. The rate of Autism is steadily... -
