    Hmmm...I dunno...this Lyme girl LOVES the heat....the hotter the better! I'm not kidding...I feel WAY better when there is heat. I was blasting the heat in my office, I still blast the heat in my car, I love hot baths, LOVE being outside when we're in the 90's...even 100's, loved going to the saunas everyday last summer. I felt GREAT after the saunas....

    When I first became symptomatic...but not really knowing anything was wrong yet....I became very cold. I had ALWAYS been a warm person until this happened.     Donna, I think getting the Bioset wouldnt be a bad idea. That way you can get some kind of picture of what might be occurring. If you did have Lyme the HN docs wouldnt be the ones to diagnose or treat this. They have various tests that they use for figuring stuff out. I was sort of dubious about the accuracy of some them.     Susan....since I got sick I cant make it 24 hours without sleep. I've done it but I've paid dearly for it...I become highly symptomatic if I try to pull an all-nighter. I'm thinking its another thing that brings immunity down and it seems to be a pattern....low immunity = symptom FLARE-UP. I dont necessarily get fatigued....sometimes I just wanna stay...

    Yeah...it happened for me the same. Even during the two years following the bite that I was symptom free I still had some problems if I got overly stressed for any length of time. I ALWAYS contributed it to my thyroid and would take my meds for a week or two until I felt better. The stress was never prolonged during those episodes though...I was mostly happy...

    Laura, I got the IgE/IgG allergy/intolerance test. It tested over 100 foods and I also had a seperate spice panel added on. I was *highly* reactive to everything and both myself and my Dr. were expecting to see LOTS of positives on the test.     It certainly is! When I started this thread I had no idea I'd be "on to something" that would eventually lead me to be a part of the Laughing Ladies Lyme Clan.     Andrea, I got the bite and flu-like symptoms 6 years ago...I've been sick for 4 years now. Yeah...treatment will be long...I will always have Lyme Disease now thats its become a chronic infection. Stupid Doctors.

    I almost had to leave work this morning....I was getting KILLED by some Bounce Dryer sheets. There is a display of laundry detergents and fabric softeners near my cheese section....every 2 weeks they change whats on the display.     Carla...the lab should mail you your own copies. I dont know if you remember but thats actually how I found out my results werent totally negative...I found them in the mail. I wasnt expecting them to send me the results...so while I was waiting anxiously to hear from the doc...my results were sitting in my pile of mail.

    I dont *think* everyone has burning tears. I know for sure that for 31 years before I got sick I never had tears that burned. The other thing I was thinking about my "sticky" tears is that when my body is responding to allergens (which we know I have a ton of) its producing excess mucus.
