    Yup...I've got experience with them...and most of it was bad. It was pretty much a nightmare...not only did they not diagnose with me with anything (over 3 years) but they treated me horribly. Just kept wanting me to see their shrink....then when I did finally see the shrink she told me something was obviously wrong physically and she couldnt understand why...

    Yeah...I hope so. Its been a 4 year wait with no answers and a whole string of really bad doctors. All of a sudden I'm getting all my answers in the last couple weeks and it feels good but also a little overwhelming.

    I dont have a treatment plan yet as I've only just been diagnosed. My Dr. was wanting more tests done to see what else is going on besides the Lyme before he discussed any type of treatment. He wanted a full picture so to speak. They found out I also have candida, leaky gut, major food and chemical intolerances (but I already knew this) and a whole bunch...

    Deb., Sulfites are in most processed food so that includes all processed corn...especially corn syrup or corn starch. Sulfites arent in the fresh corn though....like corn on the cob. I cant eat the processed stuff but I do fine with popcorn that I pop myself or fresh organic corn (I'm sensitive to chemicals). If you want to find out if its the sulfites...

    I've read that steroids are one of the worst things when you have Lyme. They weaken the immune system and allow the Lyme to really progress. I was on Prednisone too...but only for about a week. I felt like I got worse after that. Also the antibiotics...I was on them on and off as Dr.'s didnt know what the heck they were doing or what they were treating...

    Are you certain the Lyme was treated effectively?? I'm very new to Lyme Disease but from what I've read and from what my Dr.'s are telling me....antibiotics arent always effective and definately not short-term antibiotics. Long-term antibiotics are ususally required and sometimes there are other infections present which require different treatment. My Dr...

    ROFL Ummm...I think a football team??? Yeah...I'm pretty sure....I recall Julie having a very shockingly detailed post about football and it was in the midst of all this BOOing of the Bulldogs.     I agree....crying is good....it can be healing. As long as we get up and keep going we're gonna get to a better place....I know we'll all get there soon enough.     Deb, There are lots of possibilities. Definately sounds like leaky gut is a likely cause for the growing amount of intolerances. My list of intolerances is huge....I react to almost ALL foods. I eat like 5 things right now. I went to more Dr.'s.....trying to figure out whats going on. Like you...my symptoms are primarily in my head, neck and shoulder...

    JenKuz, I dont think you're crazy....your posts sound exactly like what I went through with the Dr.'s for 3 long and very stressful years. Every last one of them saying I needed to see the shrink. I remember seeing the OBGYN and him telling me that Prozac would solve all my problems. I had refused all antidepressants and most meds up to that point....trusting...

    Andrea....YES!!! Thats what it looks like!!! Its really beautiful in person though....actually bigger than any of the real trees I've ever had. It's super full and touches the ceiling. I will scan and send you a pic if I can find one.

    Yes....I had this symptom and it was horrible. It was at the onset of my illness and I couldnt drive and was wearing sunglasses in my house...at night! Even the light from the TV was enough to bother me. It was also very painful. My eyes are still sensitive but not nearly as bad and they rarely hurt.     Welcome Claire. I dont know about my fibroid....do they go away on their own? I never had any symptoms (that I'm aware of) from the fibroid and I dont get any now so I guess I kinda forgot about that little fibroid. The little fibroid got lost in the mess of all the other stuff going on. My chief complaint now is chemical sensitivities.....

    Haha Judy.....Rachel cant always stay calm...shes tries very hard though. Just ask The Dave.....he'd been telling me to calm down all last week. I was losing it over the work situation and the stupid show and tell. I was working myself into a frenzy....no wonder I'm so worn out this weekend.

    Judy...it just means that some of the things to identify the presence of Lyme in the test were "there" but not strong enough to make the test positive. That why it didnt meet criteria. Its like instead of these certain areas coming back either negative or completely positive....they came back with ?'s instead. The Dr. called them weak positives because...
