    Everyone's cracking me up here again...I love R-Ville. I'm gonna go to the store and get more ice cream.     Beverly, That sucks but I'm glad you found out. The Flagyl is gluten free. I took the generic Metronidazole. It was the worst 2 weeks ever. I couldnt wait for it to be over. I never actually retested to make sure if it was gone or not after the antibiotics but you reminded me to do this. I'm in the process of retesting now. Good luck with the Flagyl!

    Glutamate is totally seperate from gluten. MSG does not contain gluten....but its bad for you nonetheless.

    LMAO! Julie, I'm thinking if you can eat fresh corn and tamales but not the corn syrups and the processed stuff its probably not a true allergy to corn. Its just an intolerance to the crap. Thats what I'm gonna find out too...I think I wont have problems with fresh corn. Corn syrup is full of MSG and sulfites....the two thogether will cause a more intense...

    Thanks for the advice. I've actually been getting my Armour totally free of corn (and everything else) from a compounding pharmacy for a few months now. I'm doing well on it.

    Just completed day 3 of my stool test. Tomorrow should hopefully be my last day. Even with the addition of ice cream...I've had 3 formed stools. YAY. My stomach feels good this morning....no ovary pain. Every time I ever ate yams I woke up in the AM with a weird smell on my hands....sort of a sweet smell.     I'm alot older than you and get called "kiddo" all the time...I get called "hun" too. People call me all kinds of things...as long as they are endearing it doesnt bother me one bit. Oh...one of my co-workers calls me B****....thats just what she calls me and she says it affectionately so it doesnt offend me in the least.

    Chrissy....the celiac blood panel would include total serum IgA but Enterolab does not so she would need bloodwork to determine if shes deficient or not.

    Enterolab tests for IgA reactions which your doctor cannot test you for with a standard allergy test. Allergy tests are IgE mediated which is a completely different immune response from IgA....which is the reaction that causes Celiac. This is why Celiac cannot be diagnosed in an allergy test....its not an allergy.

    You can have your doctor do a blood test for IgA deficiency. I'd check into that if you still feel gluten is a problem for you.
