    Sheeesh.....am I the only one here who just heard of the Mennonites? Maybe I gotta get out more often. I'm thinking I'm not as conservative as some of you are as far as clothes go. Will I still be allowed on the farm?? I could never dress like the Mennonites I saw...and not just because of the tomboy factor...but...welll...I just love clothes...

    Celia.....I thought you're joke was pretty good! Andrea, You can find those Capri pants everywhere....I've been living in them the past 2 summers.     I'm off to do yard work now. Probably take me most of the day...hopefully I get a little tan. Hopefully I remember to put sunscreen on....its gonna be a hot one.     I've never even heard of Mennonite's. They could be though...the men do have beards, although, its usually only the women I see in there shopping. They drive cars too...I think Amish dont drive cars...I think they are more primitive. I could be wrong but all I know is what I've seen on TV. hehe....havent you noticed that in this thread...

    Could it be something else in your apartment thats causing you to have problems? Mold? Water? Do you use tap water? It could be something totally seperate from gluten but it could be bringing your immune system down causing symptoms.

    Enterolab can test for casein, egg, yeast and soy. They are not all included in one test though. I got the one that tests for antibodies against gluten (Iga), damage from gluten intolerance (tTG), malabsorption, and gene testing. They threw in the casein test as part of the package. It was around $350...money well spent...but you dont have to pay that much...

    Rinne, It was only suggested to me about writing a book....I'm really not all that organized. It would be way more fun if we all wrote a book together...now thats something I can do. OMG...can you imagine all of us on Oprah. That would be one hilarious episode!

    Yeah the enzymes were digestive enzymes...a supplement. Totally seperate from the Keto...thank God the Keto hasnt had that kind of effect on me. I'm counting on it to save me.

    Celia, I tried goats milk and I liked it alot....but then again I'm the girl who likes anything so I'm probably not the best at giving advice on how stuff tastes. Everything tastes good to me. Except today... right now the thought of peanut butter makes me wanna puke.

    I tried the sweet potatoes before (w/out the enzymes) but I only had a few so not sure if they would have affected me or not if I had continued eating them.     Julie, The only grain I was eating at the time was rice...but I always eat rice and it doesnt mess me up like what I went through on that week. Besides the rice I was only eating the usual fruits and veggies...and the yams and sweet potatoes. For sure it was the enzymes or the sweet potatoes or both.     Lister, lots of people have negative blood tests but are still gluten intolerant. You can be intolerant w/out being Celiac...it wont necessarily show up on a bloodtest. I know you are financially strapped but since you have so many questions in your head maybe you should try to get the money for an Enterolab test before you try going back on gluten. Just...

    I was wondering about raw milk myself but then I read that raw milk can be dangerous. The pastuerization makes it safe to drink. I dont remember the exact reason but I'm thinking along the lines of bacteria and things of that nature.
