  1. Eclara if you have all the issues I mentioned, you may want to ask a Dr for a gastric emptying test. Having Gastroparesis can cause all the issues I mentioned, and so can food sensitivities. Try reading about symptoms of Gastroparesis. I avoid gluten and still try to eat easy to digest foods. If you eat soft foods for a couple days and feel better, that's...
  2. I feel the same way, but I have Gastroparesis so the softer/less food I eat, the better I feel. I didn't see you say anything about bloating, nausea or constipation though. I does also give me stomach pain and leg cramps if I can't go to the bathroom. I hope you can get an answer!
  3. I got an answer: Our Gluten-Free Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce is made with our Gluten-Free Soy Sauce. Kikkoman does use a yeast in manufacturing our gluten free and other soy sauces. Yeast is an important component to the fermentation process, but it is inactivated at the end of the manufacturing process when the soy sauce is heat treated. We hope...
  4. Honestly, if I had those symptoms and you know it isn't a yeast infection, I'd see a gynocologist. Good luck though!
  5. Thanks Shadow. I was hesitant to ask the company because they don't have a number and want a mailing address to ask a question. I faked the address and hope they still respond.
  6. I did see the gluten free label but there is no fda labeling for yeast and there can be yeast in products that have no gluten from what I understand, such as wine. Like I said though, I am new to the yeast issue. I do have to avoid gluten as well. I appreciate your response though.
  7. I did not see anyone mentioning this but I really like Enjoy Life Chocolate. I get it at a health food store. It only contains: Evaporated Cane Juice, Natural Chocolate Liquor (Non-Alcoholic), Non-Dairy Cocoa Butter. I melt it and mix it with vanilla coconut milk or dark chocolate almond milk to make it fudgy. The website is here: Open Original Shared...
  8. I don't see yeast in it but I'm wondering if there is yeast from the wine in the ingredients- hidden yeast.
  9. Hi, can someone please tell me if Kikkoman gluten free teriyaki sauce had yeast? I see it has wine in the ingredients. I'm new to eating yeast free. Thank you!
  10. I agree with Cavernio. Drugs have side-effects and some are not identified until they've been on the market for a while. That and I am so sensitive to medications, I think being on a gluten-free diet would be a healthier, more natural approach until the medication is proven safe long-term. It's great though that companies are working on a solution though...
  11. Thank you for your reply! No, the potato chips were baked Lays so no rice. Dried potatoes, corn oil, corn starch, salt, soy lecithen, sugar and corn sugar. I'm having a really tough time eating healthy. I have always been a picky eater and ate a lot of junk food and processed foods growing up. I don't have an acquired taste for most veggies. Thank you for...
  12. Is there any relief for upper stomach bloating? I have GI not celiac disease (as far as I know) and ate some gluten-free potato chips and my upper stomach blew up like a balloon. I'll be talking to a doctor soon about other intolerances. But in the mean time, are there any suggestions to relieve the bloating? I took some Gaviscon which helps with the indigestion...
  13. I went to a lecture yesterday about the benefits of eating gluten-free (in relation to food intolerances) and also the impact that the thyroid has on the system as a whole. A lot of doctors use Dr. Kharrazian's teachings and set up patients with extensive thyroid tests and other lab work. I signed up with a Chiropractor to do this but I'm wondering if anybody...
  14. Ooo thanks! Do you have any recommendations for the sublingual tablets? I looked on Amazon briefly but mainly saw B12 and D1000. I am eating gummy vitamins (gluten-free) cause I hate swallowing the large ones. Sublingual would be awesome but then again, do they come in multi or just individual supplements? Do you know what your TSH was at the time of...
  15. Hi nvsmom, thank you for the great info as well! I did have nutrients tests done and only came up deficient in vitamin D (which apparently is very common). All other vitamin levels were good. I do have hypothyroidism (not Hashimotos though, that came out negative) as well as the diabetes (moreso borderline). Why I was not tested early on for Celiac is beyond...
  16. GFinDC and Mushroom, thanks for that info. The PA gave me the choice of doing the blood test and I chose not to do it. She didn't push it and was fine with just diet modification. If I continue to feel really good on the gluten-free diet, I don't need a blood test to confirm it. I'll just keep doing it. If I was having a much more sever reaction (such as...
  17. Good luck with your biopsy! My GI ruled that out as well because he already did an upper GI and didn't do the biopsy then so they're not going to repeat it. I feel like a real addict too cause I came home from my appt searching for anything to eat that had no gluten and it was very difficult! lol At least you have a positive confirmation with the blood test...
  18. I picked up some gluten-free Bisquick yesterday as well. I Googled Bisquick gluten-free recipes and found some good ones on their site. I want to try the pumpkin pancakes!
  19. I have Gastroparesis (paralysis of the stomach) and I refuse to accept that it is idiopathic, meaning there is no identifiable cause, just live with it. For the last year or more I have been taking a combination of 6 medications- 3 types to help go to the bathroom, 1 for upper digestion, 1 for nausea and 1 for GERD. On the evening of Jan 2nd I started reading...
