  1. My wife came across a recipe I thought I'd pass along. Been celiac for 10 years now and miss strawberry shortcake dearly. Mix your faviorite gluten free cake mix wiith gluten free angel food cake. Follow these steps next after mixing. 3 TSP of cake mix (bow mixed together) into a small one serving bowl. 2 TSP of water into mix. 1 Minute in the microwave...
  2. I have been Celiac for alittle over ten years now. Thyroid was also a problem for me that did not come out until I was found I had it. Since I've been on the T meds and watch the diet I live with it pretty well now. My ex-family doctor did not catch my thyroid problem but my allergist did and refered me to a Endocrinologist who now follows me. I make MISTAKES...
  3. When I was in a hurry, I use gluten free soup over rice. Also like using frozen gluten free waffles (unflavored) mic'd 40 seconds and hamburer pattie. Can also get the "Againts-the-grain" Open Original Shared Link frozen bread microwaved and fill with store bought sub or your own ham and cheese from home. Rye

When first went to see my GI doctor I was 120 lbs from 150. Now I'm at 165 for 10 years now. My family doctor dismissed everything as pretty much in my head and even my thyroid blood levels they thought was fine. Blood...
  5. When I first went on the diet after diagnosis, I went 6 months and thought I could cheat with some pudding with bread in it. I paid a most memorable price I can remmber 9.5 years ago. Saw a nutritionist who told about flavoring and things I thought she was being over picky about. I found for myself that over the years I have become more sensitive. Effected...
  6. I agree that you are not a wuss in anyway. When I would get an attack, I would have about 15 hour stomach cramps but then afterwards go along fine. Been working fine for 10 years after getting it and haven't really missed anytime. I share your misery though as know it sucks but you'll learn to live with it with one eye open on all foods ;> When...
  7. Proud to say 60 here and still feel like 28. Been Celiac for 10 years.
