Did you measure your ferritin?hematocrit should be looked at ,with ferritin.hematocrit alone does not say if you are anemic. -

Rachell, One can diagnose if there is a tumor producing ,too much adrenaline ,with measuring these in Urine. but if you have such a tumor ,you will have very stomack pain and fever. elisabet -

Hi Rachell are you still on histamine restricted diet? what about diary? did you have any reaction to ice cream? we reintoduced cream cheese and we are going to have some blood test soon.I have heard of so many people here in Norway that they can eat some diary and some bread,after a long time of eliminating them. elisabet -

My son is eating oats everyday,we did check his Igg and Ige.It was fine,we are going to check it again soon and I will post the results here. -

Hello and welcome,I am a mom of a13 years old son,It will take about 3 months to see any positive changes,but it will come.Does he drink enough water?drinking at least 2 liter of water a day,helps a lot. My son is a different person now. elisabet -

Hi Rachel I just want to thank you for your scientifiness,I have eliminated diary,gluten,soy and corn from my son's diet and it was still a problem,after reading your theory about histamine we did follow a low histamine diet,and it seems that ,histamine was the problem. I will come back with (hopefully) more good news soon. elisabet -

Sorry,I just read that you are questioning diary again,did you ever check if you have Ige mediated reaction to diary? if so ,any allergic reaction can cause the histamine level rais in plasma,that is why antihistamin and cortisone helps allergic reactions and immune system to comedown. -

Hi Rachel, does sweet potatoes high in histamine? so that is why my son has reacted to them!!! you mentioned in another post you make your ice cream with milk,does it mean that you tolerate diary now? thanks elisabet -

Ok,I found out. Mushroom is rich in valine,a branched amino acid. and when you have celiac you have a week digestive system,and you should not make youe digestive system weeker .branched amino acids makes extra work for digestive system,(according to that Norwegian sceintist). -

It was a program in Norwegian TV,a scientists has recommended celiac people avoid mushrooms.I watched the last 5 minutes of the program,so I did not heared the whole discusion. have you heard of this before? do you react to mushrooms? may be this is one thing that we did not think of as a NO FOOd. please share your experiments. Is your hair loss patchy or diffuse?My son had lost alot of hair both in patches and over all. He had to have a gluten-free cf sf diet and all his hair came back.

I follow this diet because of my son,so our kitchen is gluten-free df.recently I found out I am not tempted to eat pizza or... any more and I also feel much better on this diet. -
