ARCHIVED Constipation. Anyone Want To Give Me Some Advice?
Renegade replied to lexibrowning's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
That is going to sound very harsh but no you have not been, you have been limiting it a lot. gluten-free would mean you get certified gluten-free oats not regular ones and even Quaker mention it may contain wheat. -
Welcome aboard.

ARCHIVED Constipation. Anyone Want To Give Me Some Advice?
Renegade replied to lexibrowning's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
It's not because you ate oatmeal your entire life and it never caused problems that it won't now. I ate non gluten free oatmeal almost every single day for 2 years and i can't even tolerate gluten free oatmeal anymore, so don't assume that because you had no trouble with a food in the past that symptoms can't start showing up, Why do you think most of us... -

Renegade replied to lexibrowning's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
No you shouldn't eat gluten under no circumstance, before I knew about my gluten intolerance I was actually worried of my constipation which was the first signs of gluten intolerance then what happened next is I ate ramens because in the past they really helped me flush the stuff out. So I went and ate them, 2 pack and nothing came out, so i tried it again... -

From my experience, prune juice is crap, it only gives you the illusion that you getting it out but most of it is just prune juice itself. Yesterday I tried something new that isnt usually recommended and it worked wonder, 2 tablespoon of organic castor oil. It was a good one but apparently some can have bad stuff in them, not to sure about that. Also probiotics... -
ARCHIVED Smoking Marijuana Seems To Gives Me All The Gluten Symptoms
Renegade replied to Renegade's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
Well weed is definitively out of the way until I heal, my question was rather if that person who mentioned the vaporizer felt it was something he needed at first or even after having healed. -

Renegade replied to Renegade's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
Ya weed definitively make me sick now :/ The one thing I really really enjoyed more then food itself, this is just plain bad, It makes the right side of my guts spasms, I don't see how weed could be containing gluten, it isn't gridded stuff like coke it is pure fresh marijuana, you suggest I get a vaporizer? If so, which one would you recommend? Edit... -
ARCHIVED Going Gluten-Free How Bad What Is At First?
Renegade replied to Renegade's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Well I was making my own spaghetti sauce, and would buy tomato sauce and paste, garlic beef, spices and pepper. I wouldn't get any already made spaghetti sauce. I suspect my almonds to be cross contaminated even thought it doesn't say it may contain wheat, the other day i had them in a considerable amount and I had all my spasm and bloating come back... -
ARCHIVED Tomato/tomato Sauce Alternative?
Renegade replied to Renegade's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
So I made a spaghetti sauce this time with beets and carrot and carrot juice, it taste so darn good and I didn't even bother adding spices or garlic just yet because I didn't want to make the risk to feel bad. I'll try this the whole week and if its good i'll add garlic next then spies and eventually I should get a very tasty sauce without tomatoes. -

ARCHIVED I Don't Suppose I Shall Ever Get Diagnosed, Shall I?
Renegade replied to jaywalker's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Why don't you focus on getting better by strictly staying gluten free? Clearly that is one thing you need to do, then take everything you can that agree with your body, food, enzymes, probiotics, vitamins, while having your familiarly support you. Then once you are back on your feet you can go back to work and clear those debts. -

ARCHIVED Going Gluten-Free How Bad What Is At First?
Renegade replied to Renegade's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
I don't have an answer for everything, but I try to have one, I am not saying I am right, I am new to all of this and this is why I ask so many questions. You are probably right with the glutening lasting for so long, my understanding is that for some it might not be as bad as others, depending if it is celiac or just gluten intolerance. In any case for... -

Renegade replied to Renegade's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Well then hopefully I'm not getting cross contamination then, like almonds and stuff, for instance I buy the more expensive ones that say may content other nuts and tree nuts which are twice the price as the one that say may have been in contact with wheat, yet they both come from California. -
ARCHIVED Going Gluten-Free How Bad What Is At First?

Oh and for my sleep, I go to bed at the exact same time every day except on weekend where I allow myself to sleep 10-14hours I take 10mg of melatonin 1h before and another 10mg right when I step in bed, when I do that I feel so lethargic that I actually fall asleep every time. Otherwise without melatonin I would stay awake most likely and get only like 6... -

Believe me, stopping all of that at once wasn't out of pleasure but weed is necessarily as it makes me feel very ill now, and I been smoking for 2 years daily without problem until I got the gluten symptoms 3 months ago, I had coffee every day or so for 3 years. I am stopping it because I believe it will help my gut heal and I won't rely on it to feel normal... -

Been at it for a month with 2 times in the very early stages I got glutened and once last Friday. I'll be cutting nightshades after i finish my spaghetti sauce tonight, ya not dumping all that beef in the toilet... I eat about half a cup of rice every day so not too much imo, also no bread or cereal and not even rice noodle, which is all the stuff i love... -

ARCHIVED Gluten Withdrawal: How Do You Function?
Renegade replied to laura1959's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Personally I think if there are any withdrawal they are from your body not knowing how to digest the food anymore, craving could be in there just like one crave coffee but it goes away. But in no way could you compare heroine and gluten as being as addictive, that is just silly and only serve to remove guilt. Gluten is a poison for celiac it is not a drug... -
Please don't discriminate an entire gender for your mistakes, it isn't men fault that you lost motivation and got off track, you could have easily called yourself stupid if you needed shame so badly.
