    ARCHIVED Low Potassium

i had this before, couple yeas ago, show up in a blood test, but they never did anything for it. i'm allergic to bananas, but i do eat TONS of potatoes- theyre my favorite. i fry up the skins a lot- yummy. i take a multi-vitamin (w/ potassium) daily. my mom told me the other day my grandma had hypokalemia (low pot. levels). maybe ive always been this way...
  8. I just had blood work done and it came back saying my potassium was really low. I was prescribed K-DUR for 7 days, and im to go back for more blood work in one week. When i looked up the symptoms, i match all of them. I'm hoping maybe I've found a reason for my nausea, although ive been gluten-free for a year. Has anything else had low potassium? and what...

  14. what exactly would be on label of the probiotics? is there a more specific name? There isnt any place like Whole Foods around where i live. so i would more than likely have to order online or something, im not sure!
  15. No, i didnt really know anything about Probiotics until after i was about done with the meds. i have been looking them up online, and i think i may start to take them. im just not sure where to get them from, not sure if there is anywhere around here or if ill have to order them online.
  16. I noticed that my "candida-like" symptoms got worse over the time period when i was on antibiotics for 3 weeks. i was so much worse while taking them. i would have rather just suffered out the bronchitis and sinus infection.
  17. i had asked a similar question before about myself (although im an adult and not a child) and i think people had me feeling like i was nuts- saying that youre supposed to be healthier after going gluten free. unlike me who was more sick in the last year (my first gluten free year!). i just had a 5 weeks long sinus infection - w/ bronchitis. still not feeling...
  18. I have read all this information about candida. the symptoms seem to match me to a T. i go to the Dr on Monday (april 3rd), so im trying to put together as much as i can before i see her. I was wondering if there is a candida test available, a blood test maybe? How can this be checked out, and how should i ask my Dr. about it. I hate to go in and say- "I...

  22. i saw this topic and thought maybe listing my HATES could make me feel better... So here we go! I hate..... - not being able to have a whopper w/ cheese and fries at burker king! - not having an appetite - the feeling of being full after eating 2 bites of something - being nauseous 24/7!!!!!!! - this overall sick feeling i feel like i have ALL...

  25. I take the Phenergan (promethazine) 50mg tablets. I actually only take half of a tablet, and they work the best out of any anti-nausea meds i have tried. I took the $20-something a tablet pills, Zofran, and had no luck with them. I've tried almost every other the counter product, even the sea bands. Phenergan is the only one that has brought me relief. It...
