  1. Personally I stick to bottled ciders, not sure about cross contamination on the taps. But before you go to a bar, check them out online to see if they have any gluten free dedicated taps or anything.
  2. Hey Nora, Welcome to the forum! Generally when going to a family or friend event, I tend to bring my own snacks. Even though everyone I know has learned on what gluten is...I just don't trust them to not cross contaminate and they understand that and try their best to cater to the needs of gluten free. At home cooking, I would recommend getting a separate...
  3. There are a lot of good gluten free foods out there now. If you want to find new foods and everything I would check out the gluten free expos (I think they have an online one also) I had to eliminate gluten, grains, milk and soy over here. So I mostly make my things in house. There is also a group on Facebook called Gluten Free Recipes, they are constantly...
  4. I have a gluten and grain free bakery. Work with local suppliers, I know Texas has a huge supplier for that stuff. You can also reach out to companies and ask for wholesale pricing and they're pretty easy going and willing to with with companies. When I travel places, I'll bring my own stuff because I don't trust what is there to use either.

But there is also cup 4 cup mixes you can get at a local health food store that would work, though check the ingredients because some use rice flour in their mix. Have you tried making baked chickpeas before? That's a pretty simple...
  8. You can replace that with arrowroot or cornstarch if you don't have can than gum. You don't necessarily need to use it, but it would just help keep it together and give it a better texture though
  9. That is true, there is a year time to do so. The two companies I mentioned I have been in contact with. If you like I can send your their contact info and you can contact them yourself. I use nuts primarily in my products and having family and friends who are allergic to gluten has pushed me to double check with every manufacturer I use to make sure. Also...
  10. Hi Winter Song, Check with your local stores. There are a lot of nut companies that use gluten with their nuts or process nuts in a place that processes gluten. A "Safe" brand, which I use in my products is Mariani. Also, Diamond of California Culinary Nuts are gluten free, but their other products are not gluten free . If you're buying nuts in a store...
