    I have found several items at Wal-Mart lately also that specified gluten free on the label. One of them was some salsa in the refrigerated section of the deli. It sure does make you feel good to see it spelled out doesn't it. Jennifer

    I am a new to Celiac also. My husband is actually the Celiac and we know what you are going thru. He gets very frustrated with all the hurry up and wait with the doctors. We find a lot of comfort and support on this message board. Its nice to know you aren't alone. Jennifer

    Yes. They did ask me if I wanted morning or afternoon pick up window. They said they could pick up as late as 8:00 pm. Jennifer

    I bought the brownies from 123 Gluten Free and they were very good also. Very rich and have chocolate chunks in them. Great with a glass of milk. Has anyone else had these and the ones from Gluten Pantry? Just wondering which ones were better for next time. Jennifer

    They gave me a window time frame for pick up. The contents for the stool test have to be kept cool so you couldn't leave it outside unless its cold where you live. You might be able to ask them how you should handle it when you call the 800 number. Good Luck. Jennifer

    Why don't you try getting the gene test like Kati suggested. My husband has been sick for months and we kept getting the run around from doctors even after he had a positive biopsy.     I believe all jello is gluten free but I'm not positive on that. I buy the JELL-O kind because its made by Kraft and you can just read the label. It is gluten free. I'm not sure about the Image brand Chicken broth though sorry. Jennifer

    You could always check out Entrolabs website www.entrolabs.com and see if that is something you are interested in doing. You have to purchase it yourself but you can have your son tested to see if he has the genes that predispose to Celiac.     My husbands test kit from Entrolabs came in a plain brown box with mailing labels that had his name & address & Entrolabs name & address thats it.     Laurelfla - I noticed you are from Gainsville. Can you tell me what doctor you see there? I am from Fort Pierce about 3 1/2 - 4 hours south but we are seeing a doctor in Gainsville at Shands. Just curious because we are not having a lot of luck with the doctor we are seeing. Jennifer

    Rachel - Did you get a copy of the blood work? My husbands GI tested his vitamin levels and told us all was normal not to worry about it and a week later I had to get a copy of it for the University Hospital he sent us to and on the lab report the normal ranges for the lab were 200 - 1100 his being 240 which did fall in the normal range so the doctor was...

    Claire - Is all CoQ10 gluten free or can you tell me the brand you take and where you get it? I got the sub-lingual B-12 for him to start taking and a liquid multivitamin is the CoQ10 ok to take with these also? We will try anything at this point. Thanks for all the suggestions. Jennifer

    My husband has Celiac and he has only been gluten free for almost 4 weeks (3 months gluten-free but his doctor had him do a gluten challenge at 7 weeks & now he's been starting over) he gets terrible bloating & belching gas after eating. He gets so uncomfortable that he almost hates eating. I'm not sure how long it takes to get rid of this symptom...

    I got my husband several of the Progresso soups. They list all allergens right under the ingredients. Its very easy to read the labels which is nice if you have several food intolerances. Jennifer

    Rachel - What kind of make up products do you buy? I've been researching it a little trying to come up with a brand that doesn't have to purchased online. My husband is the celiac but I thought it might be a good idea for me to go ahead and change my makeup so if he kissed me (even on the cheek) it wouldn't be a problem. Jennifer
