  1. Hey Rachel... How many blood vials did they draw for the lyme testing? Was it done there at Dr. S's office or did you have to go to a lab? That wasn't what Nurse Cratchett did is it, lol?
  2. Oh yay!! Will be waiting anxiously to see how it goes!
  3. My list of metals symptoms would be very similar to Rachel's and some of my responses are pretty close too. I'm taking my own list of symptoms to Dr. S. His little piddly list doesn't nearly cover it. My list of lyme symptoms is pretty impressive too. Yah, they could be although he said that wasn't my biggest problem, lol. He did say...
  4. No, they haven't been tested by BioSET yet....that's a good idea though...I think I will take this one in. Anna will carry the others and she's already tested me for one of them even though I don't have it yet, lol. I'll have her test the other two before I try them. My appointment is on Tuesday the 24th at 2:00. I'm nervous. I've got all my new...
  5. Yep, tried it this morning and I've got the nauseated feeling again. I won't take any more for a few days just to be sure. When I was in my 20s I met my future husband...he was a bartender. Um, not a good thing, lol. Anyway when we got married and were about to move to Hawaii...the night before we left we went into the club where he worked...
  6. We stayed at the Port Orleans (medium priced Disney property I believe) in December. I had a very nice time there. They only have a food court as opposed to a sit down restaurant, but I had no problem getting gluten free meals there. The first day they brought the chef out who went over what they could make for me. Each morning I had gluten free pancakes...
  7. Yah, I don't know for sure, but that's what I was thinking. I know that even here, the blood has to be drawn in the beginning of the week, so it can reach them soon enough to do the testing. I know you can overnight anything to just about anywhere, lol, but there may be other reasons why it would be difficult.
  8. I had Anna yesterday again. I haven't had Susan for a few weeks now. I can't remember all the ones I reacted to, but I know gliaden came up. I think my list of systems affected was about medium...it's just that she only mentioned the joints...probably because that was the most affected and the others were just mildly affected. Ha, I didn't notice...
  9. Well, it's nearly unanimous then...I also felt very nauseated yesterday. It started in the late afternoon and lasted until bedtime. I even felt weird when I woke up this morning...my vote was for the brownie, lol, but I also took a supplement that Scott had recommended for the first time, which has glucose syrup in it. I think I probably won't take that...
  10. Yep, I've got candida. Anna have found it a bunch of times during her testing. Scott said it wasn't coming up as a huge problem, but he also said that MAY be because I'm treating it...I've been on an anticandida diet now for almost 3 months I think...so I've been starving the little critters out (well, except for the ocassional brownie fest). I bought...
  11. You're welcome! Yes...but I think there are two and both are usually ordered. I can't remember the number...there's like a complete panel (6050 I think) that contains both panels plus more. I'll also be having the co-infections panel run I think...often there are other infections transmitted at the same time.
  12. Today's BioSET treatment was Wheat. She said my reactions were mild and indeed my glass was very small today. Based on that she said that at some time I MAY be able to have a little as a treat once in a while. Then, when she was testing to see what organs/body parts were affected she said my joints were affected and I told her that was interesting because...
  13. Thanks...I am never sure about the soy lecithin, but I almost bought it anyway...Good, next week I'll buy some of that then (or maybe tomorrow if Anna isn't restocked yet).
  14. Maybe a little normal, but usually my tears DON'T sting. But, sometimes they sting beyond belief...and definitely my sweat getting in does...I have to go wash my face when it gets like that because just wiping my eyes doesn't help. Fortunately color still takes to my hair...stupid grey hairs, lol. Yep, I stopped getting perms, well for one...
  15. Hello and welcome to the group!
  16. Okay, I think the D has been from the CHlorella! I ran out of chlorella last night and haven't taken any yet today, but have taken all my other supplements as usual, even my liquid B vitamins and all the other detox supplements, only I DID use about half of the Vit C crystals I usually use, but I did that yesterday too and still had noisy bowels and D. ...
  17. Yes! My hair falls out in droves, but fortunately I don't have any visible thinning spots...my hair is extremly dry and brittle. I do have my hair colored every 5 weeks or so and I blow dry almost every day, but even so, my hair was never dry or brittle until just the last 2-3 years. Even my hairdresser commented on it and she's been doing my hair for...
  18. Igenix in Palo Alto, California, USA, is supposedly the best for Lyme testing. There is a time problem though...I think the blood has to be very fresh. So, I'd contact them before ordering anything. I'll see if I can find the link (I've got it bookmared at work, but not here at home. Here is the link: Open Original Shared Link I'm going for testing...
  19. Oh, I totally forgot about the Internet...Thanks! The episode DID repeat last night, but the Internet will be good for those times when it doesn't. Thanks!
  20. Saw Dr. Carrie yesterday for a round of prolotherapy. I told her I was getting tested next week for Lyme...that started a little discussion. She said that H.Pylori can give a false positive on the lyme testing...I'm thinking she meant on one of the bands cuz I don't think it could on all the bands, but I didn't think to ask that until later. ANYWAY, she...
  21. Not to worry...I always enjoy talking about my pain no matter what the cause, lol. We've had a nice discussion about shingles anyway.

    ARCHIVED Scd Diet

Corinne, wow, a year and a half already! You've done so very well!
  23. Hum, I'll have to look at those. I also like a bar I get from my doctor's office...it's especially designed to not raise blood sugars and stuff...can't ever remember the name though.
  24. I'm so happy to hear that you are feeling so good! That's encouraging! Well, my chances for exposure were probably a bit more just from all the hiking I used to do...most of it through grassy areas or wooded/grassy areas. I also used to paint, and took several classes outdoors...all of those were in grassy/wooded areas in the hills around here...
  25. Yikes on the hand!!! Shoot...I think I totally forgot to record it, lol. Hope it repeats tonight...doesn't always, but I hope this is one of the times it does.
