  1. I haven't actually gone in yet...go Friday, but will definitely mention it, although I don't seem to have the blistering. I do have pink raised areas that feel rough...I don't have good eyes anymore, but did try to look under a magnifying glass...I thought at one time some of the little bumps looked blistery...but I scratch so darned much that I'm not sure...
  2. Good idea, but I can't lead them....it wouldn't give credibility to my talk with chocolate bumble bar crumbs all over my face. Premature posting...I'm sure someone else has asked and you've responded, but just in case...SO WHAT DID THEY SAY, lol? Back to reading... A MONTH!!! The thought gives me chills, lol...
  3. I think I was in denial! Hey, but it's been almost two weeks since I've had a bumble bar!
  4. I may not have to worry about quitting, lol...they keep talking about "outsourcing" my department, so I'm sure the point will all be moot at some point. Anyway, it was really hard when I was at my sickest, but fortunately I have a fairly flexible employer and fortunately I was able to take some half days off...I also think my gluten intolerance hadn't done...
  5. Yep, funny how that works.
  6. Okay, so since joining this thread on page 15 or so I've been trying to figure out what causes the almost unbearable itching I have on my legs...sometimes it's barely noticable and sometimes it's just horrible...also through the course of this thread I've thought it might be corn, histamine, chicken, auxigro, sugar and air. My latest, CHOCOLATE. Oh dear...
  7. They might! I know our judge was very strict and wasn't excusing for much, but if I remember correctly that was one of the things he did excuse for.
  8. Oh good...I am no Julia Child in the kitchen, so definitely though it was ME, lol. Seriously though, toasting it in the toaster oven was a happy accident...it was sooo good.
  9. I haven't been called since finding out about my gluten/dairy intolerance, but the first time I was called and actually picked as an alternate for a jury, I had bronchitis and work for a law firm but they wouldn't excuse me for that, lol. They did give us breaks and an hour (sometimes more) for lunch where we could actually leave the building. At the time...
  10. So sorry, lol. Okay, so at the beginning of the text you want to change click your mouse and hold the button (mouse button that is) whilst dragging the mouse across all the text you want to change (somehow that sounds confusing even to me, lol), then select the color you want...repeat the click-drag thing and then select the size (okay that just sounds weird...
  11. Wow Christina, I don't even know what to tell you, but I'm sorry you are feeling so badly! Nikki - are you highlighting the text you want to change first? I had to highlight the text, then change size, then highlight again and change color.
  12. Susan- so sorry you are sick. Do you eat cheese omelets often? I think we all know that veggies CAN make some people sick here. Maybe it's just a combination of things + your period. I used to get horrible D with my periods every month. Hated it, but other than the usual misery that that time of month brings I didn't feel any worse usually.
  13. I'm not that motivated, lol. I had to have something to do while I was watching 22 episodes of a set of TV series DVDs that a friend is lending me, lol. Painting (rooms) is not fun...painting pictures yes, painting rooms no and it takes a long time. Good idea! I heard once a long time ago that sometimes people just want someone to listen...
  14. Good googly moogly, what page was this on??? Did I miss a discussion about gluten-free BIG MACS, lol.
  15. KFC is over the hill at the mall where Rachel and I will get our shopping fix...I suppose the KFC could be there, lol. No suggestions really, except that by being here in this thread you just might stumble upon something that will click with you. That's how this whole thing started...a bunch of us trying to figure out what the heck was making...
  16. I now have 25 new bracelets and one more just waiting to be strung. Well, welcome anyway TheDave, Rachel's friend-but-not-boss (stealing from Penguin cuz I liked it too much, lol).
  17. Rachel's boss I presume!??? Welcome! Welcome to Isonic as well! Hundres of pages ago...our dear Cecile came up with that one...it caught on like wildfire...kind of like premature posting did. Oh, and Susan, thanks...it's good to know the Dingos would have eventually been sent for me as well!
  18. We do get excited over these things don't we. I just couldn't get the darned tortilla steamed correctly so I just threw it in the toaster oven...came out so good, lol.
  19. Now I'm LMAO!!!!! Cecile, DITTO!!!! GAAAAAWWWWWDDDDD!!!!!
  20. OMGOsh...if I had something in my mouth would have spit it out on this one, lol. Where else on earth could this seem so normal. And, personally, I think a President with brain fog seems so absolutely appropriate for our little town, lol. Hi to all, I still haven't caught up with all that happened while I was gone...may never be able to at this...
  21. Hi everyone, it was STEVENS CREEK, not Walnut Creek, lol... Wished I'd logged on yesterday, lol. I I'm only on for a few minutes here and haven't read the many posts but sounds like I missed a lot. Glad Rachel is okay. I'll try to catch up tomorrow!
  22. I'm still here, just reading mostly. My order of beads came today so I've been playing with them, lol. I was thinking Rachel is probably just taking a break for a couple of days, or her mom's computer is in use. I've been having some problems with mine at home, so haven't even bothered turning it on for a couple of days. I think I got the problems straightened...
