Thanks for the info...yes that does seem to tie in with what I've read so far in the book. The biggest factor that triggers the inflammation response is a dietary related. The book mentions celiac and gluten intolerance a few times. Their basic diet premise is to follow the Paleo diet and to balance pro and anti-inflammatory foods. Still reading.... -
Yes, I've heard the frozen coke bottle recommendation before too from other people. Drinkikng losts of water and doing epsom soaks will help flush out the toxins.

Yes! Me! I haven't had a sense of smell in years. I went gluten-casein free in December and have actually noticed a little improvement. I still can't smell most things, unless like you said they are strong, but I'm finding in the last few months I catch little whiffs of things...like my unscented soap, lol. I'm hoping that it will slowly keep getting...

Cool, all the way from Kansas! How cool! I'm pretty sure I'll be there, so getting together would be great! Besides, I have to meet the keeper of our wonderful dingos. I should go ahead and register now so that I will be SURE to go, lol. LOL!!! Yep, I think you're on to something with the "aggressive driving" course. I will NOT drive... -

Hi Jeny!!! Welcome! Yes, we need a vet in Rachelville to look after our dingos, auxigro detecting geese and completely organic cows! Brush up on farm animals. Okay all, so I've been waiting years to hear the words "you have a nice bottom"...I finally heard it today. From my mom! Oh well, at least I heard the words, lol. Okay... -
PF hurts a lot, so you're probably safe there...when I first got it my feet were very stiff especially first thing in the morning...there wasn't a lot of pain then. It sounds like you're doing the good things. I've not heard of the acid in the hands either. On another note...I tend to get 1 hours massages about every three weeks, and I've never had...

Thanks Vincent-Victor (lol) for explaining a brown-out. I don't ever remember having one in California but yesterday we definitely had one. I was on the computer when it went dead, but my surge protector lights were still on...then I turned on the TV to see what was up and the picture kept getting really small then normal size. Went to the refrigerator... -
Well I had plantar faciitis about 5 or 6 years ago in both feet. It was very painful. Cortisone shots didn't help at all, but resting them as much as possible and wearing orthotics definitely made a difference. At the time I asked what could have caused the injury and the podiatrist said that just about anything could cause it...jumping, stepping on a...

I am in denial about Mango leaving....forgive me if I haven't been commenting on that, lol. I've been having Mango sorbet (homemade) every day in honor of you. ... -

Hopefully by now you are sound asleep and when you wake up you'll feel much better. Thanks to everyone here for sharing in my good news!!! -
ARCHIVED Do They Put Your "out" For The Biopsy?
dlp252 replied to Chelle15's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
I think that's a great idea. I told the nurse (on the second scope) who was administering the meds that I tend to get sick on sedation and whatever he did was perfect because I felt pretty darned good afterwards...tired but good, lol. They're usually really good about making you comfortable. -

dlp252 replied to Chelle15's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
You're welcome! I think that even though I was asleep, or in twilight, they still used a spray to help with the gagging reflex although I didn't ask them that specifically...I do think I heard the nurse say that they would be using a spray...I was already asleep if they did use one, lol. -

Thanks evie, how are you feeling? They did remove a stomach polyp on my first scope and it was biopsied, but that did come back benign...don't know what causes them in the stomach, but the doctor wasn't concerned at all about it...course I think he had this mass on his mind when I was talking to him--he didn't even mention the polyp except in passing. -
Mine were also not fungal, I tried all the washes and even colloidal silver, with no relief.

dlp252 replied to Rachel--24's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
I had a mass at the point where the pancreatic and bile ducts empty into the duodenum. I had a biopsy in April which was reviewed by three different pathologists, one of which said it was benign, one said it was pre-cancer and one said it was probably just inflammation, lol. So this was a follow up to see if taking acid reducing meds would make it clearer... -

OMG, I adopted Chip from a local vet...her owners had turned her in to be put down. They were elderly and couldn't cope with all her medical problems any more...she was an odd looking little dog, but so cute to me. She had a thyroid problem, damaged liver, epilepsy and an enlarged heart when I adopted her and she developed diabetes while I had her to had...
