  1. I'm so sorry! I've just prayed and will continue to pray for Megan and you and the doctors.
  2. I may be posting more after tomorrow, lol. Tomorrow is another chicken challenge. My heel hasn't itched at all now for a couple of days. I've been feeling pretty well...the Vitamin C seems to be sitting well so far. I've also started taking my probiotics again. I think I'll wait a full week before introducing new vitamins though. I have...
  3. I always took my probiotics during and after my course of antibiotics. I usually had to take the antibiotics twice a day, so took them at 4:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., then I'd take my probiotics at bedtime (around 8:00 p.m.)...the instructions on the bottle of probiotics I had said to take them on an empty stomach, so that was the best time of day for me to...
  4. Christine, I've never tried that, but it sounds interesting! Rachel, the antihistamine sounds interesting too. Julie, I also like Giada and Paula...Paula and Alton Brown I think are my favorites. I'm still doing okay...today I've reintroduced my vitamin C tablets, and in a couple of days I'll try to add back my flax oil.
  5. Mine were all over my uterus...inside, outside and in the lining/walls. Can't imagine what's going on with that possessed computer of yours, lol. Why thank you! Oddly, Rachel Ray is one of my least favorite show hosts, but I do like her show, lol. She always has the most interesting tips. I didn't notice the sticky stuff when I first...
  6. Rachel - about the cucumbers...I was buying organic from Whole Foods but when I would wash them I could feel a sticky almost gel like substance on the skins that wouldn't come off...I always peel mine, but am sure that some of it gets on the peeler and back on the cucumber....then I just happened to see Rachel Ray on the Food Network who always buys the ...
  7. Morning all! This thread is hard to keep up with if you don't visit every day, lol. I was just thinking that it used to be fairly easy to catch up if you read a few of the older pages along with the new, but any more there's quite a few new pages every time I log on (and I try to log on a couple of times a day, lol). I think I've determined that corn...
  8. Hi everyone. Hugs to Armetta and Julie! My allergist told me to stay away from dried fruits too...I always thought it was because of the mold factor, but I could be wrong. I also did an anti-candida diet, which stressed no dried fruits. I'm feeling pretty good...the last few days my allergies have really kicked up...it's been hard to breathe, but...
  9. We can do rehab together! I thought it had something to do with the military! (pssst, I went to public schools here in Cali...) Wish I didn't understand any of this so well!
  10. Okay, I exaggerated just a bit...I actually only bought 8. I've been sort of good though...I've had those in the house and only ate the 1st one last night. I should take them back, but I can't bring myself to do it, lol. It's truly intervention material here. Change a couple of letters of my name and it spells DENIAL!
  11. BA fits in so many different ways.
  12. YEP!!! That's exactly how it works!!!! Although people DO tell me I look like I'm in my 30s. I might be too far gone for intervention! Do they have Bumble Bar rehab?? Did I mention I bought like 12 of them on Saturday?
  13. I almost got a belly piercing, but one of my co-workers got one around the same time and she had trouble with hers to I chickened out, lol. NOT OLD!!! I'm older than you so that would make me ancient, lol. I'm going to be 51 in a few days! Okay, I finally figured out that I DO get mouth blisters. Got one this morning (or at least noticed...

    ARCHIVED Neck Pain

I tried doing an Internet search for "neck pain" and for "thyroid pain"...got lots of hits--I read a few of them, but the sites I read didn't seem to fit your description of the pain. Sorry I couldn't help more.

    ARCHIVED Neck Pain

I've been having bad pain on the left side of the neck too, but mine is higher up and more to the side. I think mine is muscle related though because if I feel around I can find a sore spot--the pain also radiates into the head and down into the shoulder which is another reason I think mine is muscle or tendon related (are there tendons in the neck, lol...
  16. Hum, I'll have to try wearng mine again. I had to stop wearing even my 14kt stuff because my ears would get weepy, but I haven't really tried wearing earrings since going gluten-free. I LOVE earrings, lol, I have 4 holes in each ear and it kind of irked me that I couldn't wear them anymore, lol.
  17. Glad to hear it, although that might have been fun too.
  18. I'm afraid of the ocean too, and don't know how to swim, but I LOVE cruising and boating...isn't that just the oddest thing, lol. When I was a child I would go with my cousins to Santa Cruz (a beach here in Cal) and walk out in the ocean all the way til the water was at my chin...never bothered me.
  19. Try not to be too stressed. I also had blood in my poop, so a colonoscopy was ordered. In my case it turned out okay, but you do want them to check to be sure. My doctor thought I might have colitis or something like that, but turned out I don't. The CBC is a blood panel which tests for a lot of different things. The TSH and T4 are thyroid tests. I...
  20. Wish I was wrong on this one! Are you sandbagged? (That sounds funny doesn't it?) It's high tide right now so hopefully this is the worst of it.
  21. That's me, bringer of good news, lol. Hey, maybe they found your tree!
  22. Have you seen the back side of the storm yet??? Or, will that be hours more? I'm hoping the back side of the storm and high tide don't want to visit at the same time.
  23. Yikes...where did the tree go??? Hope that isn't sailing around, lol. You are good neighbors!
  24. This made me smile, lol! Andrea you are wonderful!
