  1. !!!!!! Hum, (responding to your other post, NOT this one, lol)...places I'd rather be... Maybe I'll put up some of my travel photos...MUCH rather be there than where I am right now!
  2. Okay Tom, what's the new avatar of?? Did I miss THAT discussion too!? I thought I read everything carefully this morning, but didn't get much sleep last night, so maybe not as carefully as I thought!
  3. Well, I can't imagine it's the fat or calories with me! I get plenty o'that, lol! I tend to eat between 1800 and 2000 calories a day and usually about 50% of that is fat. Also hard to imagine it's salt because I also eat TONS of salt...not just any kind of salt, but at work I use Celtic Sea Salt which has a bunch of minerals and stuff, at home I use...
  4. Okay, why the stupid heck am I craving corn chips and lays potato chips. Not salt in general, but specifically those two things. Sheesh!
  5. Hello and welcome! Yes, it was a symptom for me anyway. That was one of the first things that cleared up when I went gluten and casein free. It was getting to the point where I was considering surgery to open up the passages and the post nasal drip was horrible. I was getting sinus infections in cycles of every 5-6 weeks or so for THREE years! That...
  6. I think it's pretty much throughout December. I know we've performed there as early as the 14th or so of December...and I don't think that was the first day it was opened. We usually sing on weeknights as opposed to weekend nights, although I do think one time we sang on a Friday or Saturday night. Cutting... yes, I actually have done that...
  7. Okay, is anyone having trouble getting onto to LN? I've tried all day long, both at work and at home to get to the message boards over there and can't connect. From home I'm getting the gateway timeout message and from work was getting a server message. I thought it was just work, but can't get on from here either. Did I get banned. Sheesh, I haven...
  8. Well according to my two allergists they do, lol. This was one of the first things my allergist told me 5 years ago when he first tested me and I tested positive for mold allergy. Then when he retired and the new allergist took over, I was retested and still tested reactive to mold, they told me to get rid of the plants too. I had already done that mostly...
  9. Hello and welcome! I had two skin scratch allergy tests for foods...the only food that showed up was oats, but yet I react to lots of foods. I even did an elimination diet, or tried to, but couldn't really do it right because I never got to a point where I wasn't reacting to something. Turns out the base "safe" diet, included lots of things I am reacting...
  10. Thanks, I'd never heard of this movie before.
  11. Hey, our choir sings (and actually my small group has too) at Christmas in the Park!
  12. Aw, I'm so sorry! Enterolab is only able to tell you if you have a sensitivity to gluten, etc. They can't diagnose Celiac. You may still have gluten intolerance (and thus a problem with gluten) and not have Celiac, which is what the blood testing and biopsies are looking for. Were you gluten free before your blood test and biopsy? If so, that may...
  13. Well I thought first of odious, but I'm not sure that's any more heinous than heinous is.
  14. So, is Charly the mouse or the human? Seriously though...I think I know what you mean. I think many of us have had our hopes up only to be let down...doesn't necessarily only apply to health, but that's certainly what we're all dealing with the most here lately. I'm taking it one day at a time...I'm currently celebrating that I have a bunch more...
  15. I'm sooo sorry! This is probably silly question, but did you look INSIDE the glove? I've actually had that happen with my winter gloves.
  16. Yes, this is hard to remember but key I think! uberheinous? megaheinous? Death?! Ah yes, but a chocolate bumble bar with peanut butter can sure help.
  17. Wish I could make that guffaw face much larger!
  18. MUIR GLEN = heinosity!!! Icky stuff which I do react to. I DO buy the 365 organic canned tomatoes and seem to do okay with them though. I think they also have citric acid, but that's about the only source I get of it. Holy cow, I'm half hispanic too, but don't know any of that stuff. I may have had a chorizo or two, but don't know much about the...
  19. Tom....did I miss the discussion on who the little girls are in your avatar...yours? someone elses? rent-a-kids?
  20. Oh Lisa....I am soooooo happy for you!!!! Yay! I was truly getting worried about you and this NP sounds very, very good! And yes, perhaps only a teaspoon or less rather than a tablespoon. Silly Rhonda...indeed, where do you think you are. GRUMP!!! That is a great story...it sounds like you had a great time! Phew, so glad the car was still...
  21. Couldn't agree more...your list is very similar to mine!
  22. Not with ground beef or turkey, but I have a problem with chicken in any form. This has been a fun, magical place. I had fun last week going back too. It's too bad cuz her posts were some of the funniest you can imagine! Yes, I buy this brand of hazelnut butter. I've also tried the cashew butter...
  23. Story of my life! Okay, I've actually had a whole lot of fun in my life, but apparently not so much with food anymore. Showoff! Posting from the market! Well, it could make you sicker if you are doing to much too quickly that's for sure. I wish I could give you an answer on what to do, you are just so sensitive to everything it...
  24. Well, I for one would LOVE to rachel a jar of PB right now, lol. Like my almond and cashew butters, but oh man, I really want me some PB. Oh, I used to LOVE, LOVE, LOVE PB on toast, with just a little bit of all fruit jam on it. YUM!!!! Miss that for breakfast actually. I USED to be able to eat PB without issue, but suddenly in the...
