1. ...Trapezoid. Large and puce-coloured. C'mon, Susie...where are you?
2. What, an igloo? (BTW, been 26 degrees C here for most of September...that's 80 F). In fact, you'd LOVE a Canadian house. But it won't be such a great deal anymore, as our loonie hit PARITY with the US dollar for a brief, fleeting moment today! So I think that when our dollar goes above the greenback, we Canadian posters should get double the credit for...
3. I was in that grand Fortune 500 race...alongside Jerry and....forget her real name, but her posting name is "confused". Jerry won, but it was VERY close and the tension was electric. His clever strategy was to simply count the post number on each posting, and nothing else. "478"...then "479"...Kinda cheating , if you ask moi. Actually, thank gawd there...
4. LOVE those emoticons. I could be there all day, making emotiphrases. My favorite: @:-) =Arab
5. Marge has an incredible head of blue hair that goes staight upwards for several feet. Like the Grand Poobah hats minus the horns. Now, you guys have tolerated my math ignorance, please bear with me for more ignorance: what's in a mojito?
6. Orange pyramids..... You will all be very proud of me, the pathetic li'l struggler in math, with this:
How many oranges in total would there be in a pyramid if the base of the pyramid has 36 oranges and the top of the pyramid has one orange?
Owwww....my braaaaaiiiinnn......
7. Tom, you are good at this....Here are some swashbuckling lines for men to use who are out celebrating this special Pirate Day (and no, my dad did not feed me these!): Avast, me proud beauty! Wanna know why me Roger is so Jolly? Have ya ever met a man with a real yardarm? Come on up an' see me urchins. How'd ya like to scrape the barnacles off...
8. Gawd, Susan...pyramid hair. That is unfortunate, but please reconsider posting a pic. It can't be that bad, and we all need a small chucke. I mean, is it tellatubby-head calibre? ...Yep, it's tout de suite. We anglophones often shorten it to "tout suite", but I don't think the French much like this. Although the Canadian francophones may be okay with...
9. An International Pirate Day? This is cause for much celebration, as we venerate these characters around here. Years ago, my dad was often called upon to portray a horrid Captain Hook-type rogue. Here was his advice that we can all use today: Double up all of your adjectives and you'll be bountifully bombastic with your phrasing. Pirates never...

11. Now THERE was an animated series with a fantastic ongoing score, and a terrific horn section. Memories....
12. Ahhhh, the dietary lapses when menstrual...(still with us, Tom?)...this reminds me of the wonderful euphemisms my girlfriends and I used to employ as teenagers for this special time of the month, glancing knowingly at one another and smiling ruefully while in the presence of boyfriends. My Friend is here (Ha! What the hell were we thinking?) ROOS ...
13. Here in the province of Ontario, legislation was passed in 1997 that allows women to be topless in public. Interestingly, I have seen NO topless women at any beaches, parks or streets since then. We can do it here, but no one's jumping. I just can't be bothered....more area to sunscreen. Burned boobs do not sound fun.
14. Hey, we're talking about Nikki here...that was subtle, clever and completely intentional.
15. Whoa!!! There's all KINDS of cool new little faces for me to use! A whole treasure trove that I did not know about ! Very early on (university days), I learned to do damn near anything whilst holding said glass of wine, including going to the bathroom. Well, I didn't want to put it down and forget where I'd left it!
16. Hey! How do I get access to that fabulous little emoticon, the little guy you've used with his eyes going in swirls? I can't see him anywhere!
17. Early ball fields were built so that home plate faced east. That way, the late afternoon sun wouldn't be in the batter's eyes, a dangerous situation when a baseball is thrown in your direction. The pitcher faced west, and if he was left-handed, the ball would be thrown with his south-sided hand--his "south paw". Thank you for that info, Dad (he's more than...
18. Hey, Lynne! I've now shoved my way into this Tickle Me madness...I can't keep up half the time . So, I'm noticing a number of southpaws around here, which proves interesting. I'm VERY left-sided (hand, eye, ear, foot, you name it). Who else? I bet we all are, as lefties are the true nuts of any society.
19. Yep. You can see clips from his last show, "You Can't Do That on Television", by punching it into Youtube. Very ahead of its time!
20. Janet, anyone who is much gooder with numbers is a winner for me. So glad you're here--you never know when we will suddenly need to invert a trigonometric function or square a hypotenuse (can you really even do those things? Those sound like impressive, complex terms...) I worry about myself sometimes, as I'm rotten with numbers but fairly capable with...
21. I am buyin' myself one of those, you can be sure.... I've never heard of anti-clockwise, either, and we Canucks tend to use a lot of English idioms. Nothern-hemispheric thinking, indeed...(chin-rubbing, also)...
22. That's wild, Tom...I never see compound words separated into two words. Perhaps I'm slipping. And the "Grand Poobah"! What an honour. I can just picture myself in one of those huge, fuzzy, RCMP-type hats with horns, a la Fred and Barney at their Water Buffalo meetings. Somehow, I think Susan could get away with wearing this type of crown much better...
